Absolutely nothing like the pics online. Resort is very dirty and aged. Room walls and bed were mouldy. TV, telephone and bathroom fan, did not work. Had to beg for room to be cleaned daily. Had to walk to reception to ask for toilet paper and towels daily. Safe batteries held on with duct tape and did not work. Room door key lock mechanism did not work, had to leave room unlocked and use glass sliding doors. Food is way overpriced. Wait times in restaurants is enormous. Free activities were fun, others ridiculously overpriced, so could not do them. Most staff were lovely, some treated us as a pain and not guests on the resort. It's such a shame that what could be a heavenly resort is in such a terrible condition. Even staff said they were surprised the place is always booked out, people must not know how bad it actually is. Left early to stay in Airlie, thanks to manager for refunding our last night and a pizza and fries. Hugely expensive mistake and really upsetting when you save all year for a break.

Very over priced. Poor staff support and average attitudes. Food was really bad, especially the buffet. Could not even eat the bacon as so bad. It became a joke between our family and I over the 7 days at how bad the food was and how expensive it was as all we could do was laugh really as no other option. The rooms were ok but house keeping lacked big time. Left rubbish in the rooms, didn't vacuum the floor. The aircon was filthy and the extraction vent in ensuite was filthy handnt been cleaned for a few years it looked. We spent about 13K for flights and accomodation and then spent about another 3.5k just to eat and drink for the five of us on the island for the 7 nights. The beach was great. The underwater aquarium was great. The treetop walk was great. Lovers cove was great. Would not go back though and would not recommend to anyone unfortunately as the hotel experience itself was terrible.

We had a lovely stay. Location is stunning. The room was clean however a little tired looking and we had to have maintenance fix a few things during our stay. The breakfasts were great lots of variety. Would have liked to do more dinners but the nightly buffets were too expensive for a family. All in all we would still recommend this resort to others, a wonderful tropical getaway.

A lot of young staff, inexperienced and seemed a bit disinterested. Particularly some of the waiting staff. If you are going to charge a premium price for the service of meals, ensure your staff are trained, capable and have the right customer service attitude to justify accordingly. Some of them had no idea at all, which was very frustrating.

Staff - almost all staff that I encountered at the bars (both at the pool and the lobby) made us feel we were inconveniences to them. And that’s just us ordering soft drinks but mostly requested to have water filled for our kid’s water bottle since the ONLY water station on the lobby is always exhausted. This has been the biggest let-down during our stay. Some staff also talked to us rather disrespectfully thinking we are tourists that cant speak English. Once they realised that we are from Sydney, then they spoke nicer. We didnt request any cleaning for our room. We put the ‘go green sign’ which says that you’d get ‘$10 credit for beverage’. That was not applied to our final bill either. Food - breakfast buffet is not too bad. Quite a variety but they are all the same everyday. For the price that we paid, we didnt find the experience worth the price we paid.

The room was dirty with a lot of dust behind the curtains, no water in the rooms. We had poor service in the restaurant with meals forgotten on two occasions.
