Won’t book again.
The air conditioner sounded like a jet plane. The elevators did not work. My mom has a handicap sticker and was on the third floor. The elevator was of the utmost importance. The bed was very comfortable. The hot tub was cold and the sauna was locked. The indoor heated pool was 55 degrees the thermometer said.

Likes: Amenities such as breakfast and courteous staff under pressure. Dislikes: Only 2 trolleys for the entire hotel and the elevators were inconsistently working. Staff appeared unsupported and took the brunt of aggravation from guests. It was my 1st time traveling with my dialysis machine and it was a horrible experience for my husband to carry it and boxes of dialysis solution up 2 flights of stairs. The 2nd shower door was off the track and there were only 2 large towels, no extra blankets or pillows. Husband will be calling for compensation.

We have stayed here many times over the past years, but it is in need of attention now. One elevator wasn’t working. We had to take the stairs a couple times because the remaining elevator is on its last leg. There is no housekeeping during the stay. And I noticed trash and/or linens sitting outside some rooms during our stay. They were never picked up. Front desk staff was almost non-existent. I asked for extra towels and regular coffee with creamer packets. He gave me small towels and decaf coffee, plus told me the only creamer would be at breakfast. No one at the desk our last day, so I had to check out through a virtual session on a kiosk. It just didn’t feel like a clean, friendly place like we used to have here.

While the property was clean, parking lot well lit, lobby was clean, we were placed on the 4th floor with no working elevators. Two night stay, significant other with heart condition having to walk up and down staircase. Card would not allow us to open back door at night, had to walk around, would not let us in our room, had to go down stairs to reprogram then hope the elevator would work to go back up. Bed was firm, but pillows need to be replaced.

The staff was great, the basic in our room was cracked and chipped, the bar of soap for us use was about the size of a quarter and only one trash can for the entire room. TV reciption was terrible, no local news or programs. The only best thing I can say is the food the cook prepared for breakfast , it was great. I will stay at another hotel when and if I go to the next saddle round up in Wichita.

We’ve stayed at LaQuinta near MSU campus a number of times, but not in the past two years. Wondered why such low occupancy for a hotel that is typically almost full. One elevator out of service, and the other took forever. Not very clean, breakfast temperature barely warm and the topper was no hot water on the 3rd floor, as well as walking the stairs after the one trip on the elevator. Crossed off the list and won’t ever stay here again!

The water pressure in the shower was very low and The temperature was always cold. The phone in the room would not make calls. The elevators were non operational and for somebody on the third floor made it very inconvenient to come and go. The stairwells were poorly lit. Complete darkness in some of the landings.
