Perfect Family Getaway at Ala Moana Motel

My stay at the Ala Moana Motel was nothing short of phenomenal, and I’m already looking forward to making this an annual tradition! This place is a true standout in Wildwood, NJ, offering everything you need for a perfect beach getaway.The rooms are impeccably clean and surprisingly spacious, with a full kitchen that’s a game-changer. It’s stocked with every pot, pan, cup, and plate you could possibly need, plus a fantastic dishwasher that made cleanup a breeze. The attention to detail in the kitchen setup alone shows how much thought the owners put into making your stay comfortable.The property’s architecture is both beautiful and functional – I was genuinely impressed by the design. The outdoor showers (yes, multiple!) were a lifesaver after a day at the beach, and the pool was an absolute highlight. It ranges from 1ft to 7ft, perfect for both kids and adults to enjoy. The pool area felt like a little oasis, and we spent hours there.Location-wise, you can’t beat it. The motel is just steps from the beach and the iconic Wildwood boardwalk, with a great diner and several restaurants nearby for when you want to eat out. For those who prefer to cook, there’s a fantastic communal area with tables, umbrellas, and a grill – perfect for a late-night BBQ with friends or family.Everything about the Ala Moana Motel screams care and quality. Very family friendly, right next to the beach and boardwalk (will have to walk or take the train to the attractions). Staff was amazing pool was perfect for my toddler. Will definitely book again!

This place is great. The room was very clean and recently updated. My only complaints would be that the water pressure in the shower was a bit low and the A/C temperature wouldn't go below 70. Most days the thermostat would automatically bump the temp up to 85 midday. There is nothing worse than coming back from a day in the hot sun to a warm room in the middle of the summer. But other than that, this is a great place to stay.
