This hotel was located in a neat scenic area in Williamsburg. The pros- its conveniently located in the Williamsburg tourist area and you are able to have a bus pick you up and take you to all the nice visitor spots located close by and it’s free. The breakfast options were wonderful along with the ability to play mini golf (18 holes), ping pong and basketball 24 hours a day for free! The outside pool is also a great size to fit a lot of visitors comfortably, and is also heated when necessary. They offer self serve laundry service 24 hours a day. The manager at the front desk, was absolutely fabulous. He was so helpful and friendly!
The cons- the AC was not working properly in all of the hallways and it was pretty warm when walking outside of your room. The supervisor “Karen” of the breakfast area was standing guard by the food and closely watched everyone get their food and eat. The first morning, one of our bagels popped up in the toaster, she pushed it back down again and caused it to burn. The next morning, she pushed someone else’s bagels repeatedly down the toaster causing smoke to pour out of the toaster. She then used a paper plate to wave the smoke around and caused several of us to leave the area due to the smell. I’m assuming that was her goal! She poorly represented the hotel. The beds in our room were both a double size and unfortunately not very comfortable, but we made it work.
