Such a great staff, so kind and so helpful! Not for once did I nor my girlfriend feel unsafe , like past place we stayed. Would definitely recommend it , close to downtown and great food places around as well .

Ehhh. Ok, not great.
The hotel was ok. The AC was not very good, the room and bedding was clean but the carpets in the rooms and the halls were old, worn, and dirty looking. The room had a bit of a musty odor. It was a decent , cheap hotel for a one night stay but not something or somewhere I would recommend.

For the facility itself I would say 3. It's reasonably priced but a little rundown and tired. The on site desk staff is very friendly. My only real complaint is that I was totally unable to make it to Wilmington for the first night of my 5 night stay. Coming into North Carolina from the West, Interstate 40 was closed because of the flooding in western NC. I called in and reported my situation so it's not like I just didn't show up. Upon arriving I asked for a refund and was told to call their corporate headquarters who told me my only remedy was to stay an extra night. Unfortunately I could not do that so as it stands I am out the cost of the night for the room that due to circumstances beyond my control I was unable to make. I don't think this company showed proper action in the face of one of the worst ever natural disasters. I'll stay elsewhere next trip to Wilmington.

The room smelled like mildew, the carpets were stained and gross, the property allowed people to party all night long screaming up and down the stairs, bugs in the bathroom. Sent an email to the owners and said I should have gone down to the desk to complain. How could they have not heard it all coming in and out of the front door?

Room had a real bleach smell problem. Front desk did provide a spray to help the smell. Carpet was crazy dirty, did not take off my shoes. Room was plain and empty

Great Inn with amazing friendly staff.
I arrived earlier because I had a flight change and they were very accomodating. Very flriendly staff, parking on site and close to everywhere I had to go.

Misleading and filthy.
Filthy. The floors, holes in shower curtain, flat pillows, no privacy. The webpage depicts an entirely different location look and feel. You get there and you have a parking lot view. Carpet is filthy, Thin walls. It was a dive of doves. Tried to get money back before we checked in bc I felt we were mislead based on webpage. They refused. We left after staying 2 nights and we were booked for 4. Disgusting. I was willing to lose my money and go elsewhere.

The moment we walked into the room we could smell mold. The air conditioner vent was covered in lint. We had to move 3 different times, one room the air didn't work. There was a layer of mold on one of the chairs. Ther was mold on the furniture. There was dirty tissues on the floor, dead roach in our room. I was scared to walk on the floor without shoes. Every morning woke up with a headache. The front of the hotel had cobwebs everywhere, trees growing out of the gutters, the railing was falling down. The yogurt in the fridge in the lobby was expired for 3 weeks (expired on 9/10 we were there on 9/29. Tried to call the general manager of the hotel. Left message with the front desk, the voicemail was full. Have not gotten a call back. The worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The hotel cleaning is being neglected and people are not doing their jobs in maintaining the property.

Simple Room
The room was simply that...it had a king bed which was comfortable but the toilet had trouble flushing and the air conditioner leaked. In both cases, the management was advised and they seemed genuinely concerned. As with many places, I had to leave $100 deposit (to be returned in 7 days) which I absolutely detest. The carpet was old and I was surprised it was still down. Besides a couple of items like that, it served its purpose and we had a good night's rest.
