It is like a ghost town! Very empty and many unused spaces. If you have not seen the Hotel Impossible episode about this hotel, I highly suggest you do before booking. I was not aware until after the fact. Nothing has changed in the 10 years since the episode was filmed. We only encountered 2 staff during our 3 night stay. Both were extremely friendly. I never saw evidence of a housekeeping staff. If I ever find myself in Frankfort again I will seek accommodation elsewhere. Positives: very friendly staff at the front desk, convenient location for visiting sites downtown, low nightly rate, free parking, breakfast included (did not try). Negatives: no housekeeping service despite a 3 day stay, very dated decor, VERY firm beds, tiny travel size pillows, only surface level clean and had many areas of neglect in the room and in the hotel common areas.

Nothing special about the property. Staff was very nice. The layout of the property is the worst I have ever stayed at. I can’t believe it has such high ratings. Too many steps to carry luggage up and down. Since you can’t change that, at least provide valet service to park your car and bell service to tote luggage. It shouldn’t be so complicated to park your car and get luggage to room. I hated it and will never stay here again.

I wish there was a way Hotels.com could know if the bar/restaurant lounges are open in the hotel. It was very disappointing to book a Nonrefundable stay to find out that the hotels bar is closed. The hotel was great otherwise and the Staff are very Friendly

It is not the hotel listed in the pictures. Do not waste your money, entire facility, including room was dirty and unbelievably outdated. I would have thought that close to Buffalo Trace Distillery it would have been nicer. Actually I would use the word disgusting.

Rooms are very dated ! Bedding very old pillows were terrible. Furniture very old no phone charging plugins. The rooms need updating very bad. The carpets felt damp from the moisture in the air.
