Both receptionist and dua in the bar were beyond helpful and lovely. It was great that they made such a fuss of my dogs. The rooms are very clean but definitely need an update of furniture and decoration. But I would still choose to stay at this friendly hotel

Superb location. Really good customer service from the staff and a lovely bar and restaurant area. Other part of the hotel could do with refreshing. Our room was spacious with a view of the cathedral. Comfortable bed. The furniture in the room is showing it's age but this did not bother us as we were out and about most of the time. I would definitely stay there again.

Not too much to comment on a single overnight stay, did not require breakfast. Knocked 1 star off service not because there was anything wrong but just seems odd to say it was excellent when my only interaction consisted if being issued with a key. Staff were polite and friendly for this short interaction
