Adequate room but tired furniture. No breakfast had so cannot comment on food.Did not have a car but found it very dark to walk at side of building.Biggest surprise was the £5.00 charge to keep luggage after you checked out!! This is why I will not stay again.Thank you

The room was large and comfortable with great views of the cathedral. The parking area was small but we managed to get a space. The bathroom could have done with a deep clean and the cooked breakfast was limited for a vegetarian. Overall I would stay again.

We enjoyed our stay rooms were dated & shower never got above tepid even after running the shower for some time as advised by maintenance person. But hotel location was brilliant as we were shopping for Christmas so could take bags back to our room. Staff were quite helpful & friendly

On arrival I was greeted courteously and directed to my room. Room was clean and comfortable but looking a bit dated as is the bathroom, All the lights in the bedroom were lamps which meant took a few minutes to go round and switch them in and off, no central light switch. In the cupboard I found a fan, heater, iron and ironing board, safe and hairdryer. I was on the 1st floor overlooking the cathedral, which is what I was hoping for. Restaurant/bar area was clean but needs some tlc. Bar staff were friendly and my dinner was very hot and tasty. Had an issue with my key which was sorted quickly. Did not have breakfast in the hotel so cannot comment on that, Receptionist on check out was quite abrupt and did not ask how my stay was or if everything was ok.

Very clean and spacious room. Very friendly welcome, nice touch with the robes and drinks in fridge in the room. Breakfast was really good. Very friendly bar chap called Ryan very welcoming and made good cocktails certainly worth trying.

Poor rooms had to be moved a number of times incorrect room details said basic double. Bed was not a double but a small double not fit for two people. Window in room damaged and did not close so room moved next room duvet was a single on small double finally hotel agreed to put in double room this was ok still issues with duvet not fitting correctly but good enough. Asked to add breakfast advised pay at breakfast room first day was ok slow service and lack of replacing food not very busy second morning asked to book breakfast again was charged extra for not pre booking again long wait for food to be refreshed when empty again not busy. Hotel extremely rundown needs refit bathroom dated and bath has lots of chips and marks show screen leeks so floods bathroom

More like a 3 Star than 4 Star hotel. Mostly clean but very very tired. Everything felt cheap or not looked after, sadly. Very expensive for what's on offer. Plus side great location.

Room was considered a very small double -not mentioned when booked, so disappointed and needed to upgrade room at cost of £40.00. Room only serviced every third day also not mentioned before. So not the best although upgraded room OK. did not sample the bar or restaurant.

Hotel was tired. Wall paper peeling over bar . Downstairs toilets terrible with mould and fungus growing. Room not clean . Convenient location and pleasant staff. Very over priced. Nearly £300 for one night without breakfast . Parking we were lucky as we arrived at 9.30 am , but only about 15 spaces.
