Pleasant guest house. Good parking. Room and breakfast were fine. Unfortunately we didn’t sleep well due to it being located next to a food delivery company which started loading their vans at 5.30am. Perhaps other rooms would be less noisy (we had room 8).

A second home in the lake district
Great place to stop to see around the lake district. Very warm, welcoming hosts. Room was clean and spacious. Breakfast was nice and a good variety of options. Plenty of onsite parking for guests. Can be a bit tight to park around the back of the building but makes good entertainment for the hosts to watch

Quaint B&B, just with luggage would book differently next time, as we were 29 steps up carrying baggage. Also my husband just about knocked himself unconscious 3x with the low beam above the bed
