Very nice and quiet place to stay. Dining places and amenities close by, casino for entertainment walking distance, the hotel is very clean, and it is not far from the center of Guelph. Most of all, the host is very friendly. If you want a quiet place to stay and moderately priced, this is one place you want to stay. We have been staying in the Village Inn for years, and is looking forward to come back and stay for more years, Gid willing. Thanks Chirag.

This hotel is just right. On the older side. Nothing fancy. Bed is comfortable. Temperature was just right. TV has a lot of channels that are "searching", so not much to see.

We enjoyed staying at this small comfortable inn. It wasnt fancy but was cozy and comfortable and our room was clean. Price was right and family ran. We will stay again next year when were back for tournament.

Substandard in every way. Human hair in the bed. No coffee in the room. Dirt on the walls. Worn out fixtures and some not working or working badly.

The smoke detector was not plugged in properly. Asked to have it fixed and was not done. Big hole at the bottom of one wall. No safety lock on the door. No plugs in sink or bathtub.

The room was pretty clean. It was considered to be a smoke free room and I assumed a smoke free facility but I woke up in the middle of the night overcome by cigarette smoke coming in through the ventilation system. It was disgusting.

We were here for a hockey tournament. When we went to check-in and telling them why we were there they accommodated us right away, giving us another room as our room was not ready. Team of staff were wonderful!

Most of the time the front desk was unattended. The "breakfast" was a joke. The coffee terrible. I had a ground floor room (appreciated that he asked) but the tenants overhead marched around until 3:30 AM and I had to attend a wedding the next day, so needless to say, I would miss much in town or I would be sleep deprived and chose the later. The TV did not work.
