we liked the friendly service. the staff is amazing. we liked the cheese and wine at 5pm. a complimentary wine or beer and cheese and crackers. nice touch. then there is the milk and cookies at 8pm. cookies are very good. you can have coffee as well. breakfast was OK. this place has great vibes. what's not to like

We stayed one night for our anniversary. We were booked for a queen but got 2 singles. That’s not what we asked for. The room was on the 4th floor. The AC never got below about 78. The front desk person at check in was super nice. The wine hour was a nice touch. The grounds were pretty.

This property was trying with their offering of wine and cheese, breakfast, cookies and milk...that was very nice. But, the rooms are like being in a basement, an old basement. The exposed brick and pipes are just too much. With the blinds drawn we walked into a very dark room in the middle of the day...how awful. The beds were nice. Bring in a decorator and remodel...I know it's historic but it's depressing.
