Likes - We checked in a little late, but the bar was still open, the food was good, and the staff were friendly. We also liked the breakfast with a made-to-order omelette, good coffee, and again, friendly and attentive staff. The hotel was clean, it just needs a little makeover :) But overall, I recommend this hotel. Receptionists were wonderful! Thanks!

Great Breakfast and Clean Rooms

It had been a few years since I stayed at the Embassy in Lubbock. The cleanliness and condition were much improved than the last time. Will definitely start staying here again. The breakfast is the best.

I love this hotel. I love the happy hour, the design of the room, the check-in was wonderful and easy! The only thing I noticed is mold in the grout in the bathroom and the living room furniture is torn and chipped. I love the location and the hotel in general- just expected finer furnishings and no mold for the price point.

The room was decent but it was just a bad weekend to come because there were a lot of noisy kids running through the halls and the parents not managing their own. Other than that, we really liked the layout of this hotel. The atrium feels like another vacation inside the hotel!

Cool to cold

This location did not have their ac/heating system switch to heat and it was cool and had no choice in the matter. Otherwise the personnel were friendly and very accommodating.

Mold, vomit, and broken furniture

I'm not sure where are these reviews about cleanliness are coming from, but this was NOT our experience. Everything was worn, outdated, moldy and gross. Staff was friendly and helpful, but the rooms were not nice at all. There was vomit on the floor between the bed and the wall. Not sure how long it had been there. The mattress on the pullout sofa was all busted. Dirty floors and dirty furniture.

Room layout was great. Mattress was the worst I have tried to sleep on in a long time. My wife and I had to go bye blankets because thermostat wouldn’t work right and froze. Other than that it was ok.
