Fire ⏰️alarm
I have been staying here since the early 90s and have never had a stay like this one!! The cat & dog pee was terrible in the carpet. The floors were sticky & dirty. The shower had no lip to catch the water and there was standing water after each shower. The sink would not drain. There were no coffee cups and no, Do Not Disturb sign. We asked for them to bring more towels to soak up the shower water, cups and the sign and never got them. This was a disability room btw, and I did not feel safe without shoes on in the shower floor.Then...@ 4:40 am. The fire alarm went off! We evacuated, they let us back in then came back and told us to leave again. By 6:30am we just got ready and left early! No explaination, no I'm sorry no comp offered! I know the alarm overwhelm them, but come on. This room was the worst! I've never had a stay like this there before. The clerk said he would let the maids know how bad it was. And I had to tell him it was beyond a maid, it needs to be remodeled. It was that bad! This is even our favorite place to stay. Very disappointed!

bad furniture - livingroom was not usable.
we booked this hotel for the livingroom - so we could work together, but the furniture was so aweful, you sunk into the couch so bad, you could not sit on it comfortably. So we had to leave and work downstairs - defeating the purpose of renting this room, at this hotel. the furniture was so old I think they had not replaced it since 1970.

November 8th - 10th 2024
Customer service was outstanding. Cleanliness of property was good. Only real issue was bathtub shower didn't drain very good. When my wife got out of the shower I had to wait at minimum ten minutes for it to drain. When I finished showering I was standing in water shin deep. Would also be good to have metal foldout racks for luggage to sit on.

I enjoyed my stay with my 2 grandkids. Having a seating area with a full size table made it nice for them to eat and color. The pool and hot tub area was nice. The breakfast buffet had good options or you could get the chef to make you something.

Poor service in the bar
This hotel is showing its age, although for the most part it still looks pretty good. We stayed in a corner suite, which is the best room at the hotel according to the front desk. Despite this, there were stains on the chairs and the wallpaper was peeling in the bathroom. It's an old school Embassy, so it has an open atrium. At night it was quite nice, with ambient lighting and quiet music over the PA system. The bar was not a good experience, however. Twice I went down at about 8:45pm and was ignored by the bartender. Both times, after about 15 minutes of sitting there I had to flag the bartender down. The second night the bartender chatted up a small group of other customers, repeatedly walking by me without acknowledging me. I bartended for 31 years - this is not how bar service is supposed to be done. We've stayed here several times over the past couple of years. It's unlikely we'll stay there ever again.

Not the best Embassy we’ve stayed in. Patches in the carpet, room smelled of marijuana, folks upstairs stomping around late into the night, room would not cool off, could hear the rollers on the trash cart rolling up to the dumpster right below our window, and tub/shower needs attention.
