Proper pub stay nothing flash but value for what you pay Great breakfast. Parking available around the back bit hard to find but got there eventually. Would stop again no problem

great place to stay
Right negative thinks out the way first - the place is a bit dated, could do with a bit of decorating. some doors and windows hard to open. Saying that - the staff were great all smiling and happy to help you, food was great and well priced, bed was comfy and all you needed was in the bathroom

Great Hotel 1st class
Great hotel very welcoming room 1st class bed very comfy shower fantastic host was 1st class contacted me as forgot my wallet with all my cards in it sent it 1st class all intact would not take any money for postage.would not hesitate to book again breakfast was 10 out 10.

Handy place to stay if you are exploring the area. The staff were really welcoming and we enjoyed our breakfast. Wooler is a really nice town as well.

Great overnight stay in Northumberland
Good traditional pub with rooms above, comfortable en suite room. No noise from bar, but a little from the street, however it was a lovely summer evening and we had the window open. We ate there in the evening, good home cooked food. Breakfast was very generous and well prepared. Altogether a good place to stay in a characterfull little village. , Great value too.

Very clean. Room was small but adequate. Breakfast was very good and the cooked breakfast was freshly cooked and hot. Staff were very helpful and introduced old friends to me from many years ago.

Lovely rooms above a busy welcoming pub. There is no noise from downstairs, so had a lovely comfortable sleep. Staff friendly. Breakfast was good too.

Highly recommend! If you're on a budget this accommodation can't be faulted. We stayed in a clean, comfortable and quiet room. Parking was available which was great. Would be happy staying here again.

Hotel in a quite village
A gem of a location. Staff very friendly and helpful. Free parking behind the building. Food was very good and not expensive. Breakfast was excellent.
