Let me start by saying the property is stunning, jungle setting with animals everywhere. It’s a nature-lover’s dream. Monkeys came to our balcony almost daily to hang out. Lots of other animals throughout the property. Easy access to Xcaret Park is a major plus. Beach and pools are nice, definitely a plus for the property. On our third night here, after dinner at the Mexican restaurant, I came down with what I suspect is food poisoning or potentially Norovirus. At about 11:30PM I started getting sick and spent the entire night sick until late into the next morning. After multiple calls to the front desk, no medications could be brought to me because the pharmacy on site was closed, as if they couldn’t open it in case of an emergency. At 7AM the following morning my husband went to the pharmacy and was able to purchase digestive medicines such as Pepto Bismol. I was in bed for the rest of the day after that, very weak and still sick on and off until late morning. The Expedia building concierge was able to arrange toast, bananas, tea, and chicken soup to be delivered to our room since I couldn’t leave. The next day I felt much better but some of the symptoms returned after eating the most mild meals I could find at the buffet and snack bar at which point I stopped eating the food there altogether. If it wasn’t for this food poisoning or whatever this was, I would have given 4 stars, not 5, because I felt the bedding and rooms could be improved. Staff was overall friendly.

This is an excellent Resort! Staff was wonderful and helpful,food was great,seen the monkeys,deers and all the other animals running free on the resort was spectacular!! I will recommend this resort to friends and family with out a doubt and will not hesitate to go back!!!

The pools and beach are nice and if you are looking for somewhere to lay in a beach chair with a drink this is ok. If you want a luxury beach vacation this is not the place. Food and rooms are mediocre and drinks almost resemble what they are called. Staff are not given the tools by management to provide good customer service.

Hotel piękny, choć pokoje nieco starsze. Pod prysznicem trudno wyregulować ciepło/zimno wody. Sprzątanie postawowe: śmieci, ręczniki, łóżka, dołożenie napojów. O wytarciu kurzy - można było pomarzyć. Jedzenie czasami było zbyt chłodne. Szczególnie w restauracjach a’la carte. Najlepsza restauracja - orientalna. Dania gorące i pyszne. Ogólnie wybór średni i dania się powtarzały (śniadanie, obiad, kolacja - często te same dania). W barach wszystko super, kelnerzy dbali o nas na plaży i w restauracjach. Drinki pyszne! Wspaniała fauna i Flora: palmy, monstery, juki, papugi, małpki, iguany. Piękne otoczenie hotelu! Bylo fajnie, ale do tego hotelu już nie pojadę.

This property is beautiful especially for families. They have animals all around the properties even monkies in the balcony. The view is amazing especially the beach area and the beach club. It is clean. Lots of beautiful spots and the pool is so nice. It is clean. The only cons comment i can say is the food needs improvement. The taste is bland. But overall this place is a paradise ❣️❣️❣️

The grounds are beautiful, the animals around the property were great (deer, monkeys, macaws, iguanas) We stayed during the week and there wasn't any shows or entertainment at the theatre like I would have hoped for. Also food was not great in my opinion, just a typical buffet you would find anywhere. Was really hoping for more authentic food

Property is showing its age, but it’s an excellent value for family vacations. We took all five of us and were really pleased with our experience. Staff is lovely, food is fine, setting is beautiful, pools are really nice and plenty of lounge chairs. Would def return :)
