Would suggest for a few extra miles/km stay outside of park. Here in mid October at canyon lodge area. Dining options very limited (cafeteria style) as most facilities closed and the accommodations were not near as nice as outside park for double the price. Room was comfortable but nothing noteworthy. Pillows about 18” x18”. Who does that? No lamp by beds though there are plug ins, so add a lamp! No microwave, TV or pool which I could live without but having just paid half the price for all those amenities and a larger room, in W Yellowstone makes ya wonder. I thought it would be nice to stay in the park but the entrances really are not that far away so if I come again I’ll be wiser. Beautiful Park though and I loved every minute we travelled around it.
We stayed 1 night while exploring Yellowstone. It was very convenient the property was beautiful the only negative thing was the beds and pillows are not comfortable. Other than that it was good, it was cool enough at night that no air conditioning was not a problem.
Very old, old cabins. Way to much money to stay here. You get a bed an shower and that is it. The windows do not lock and the heat system is terrible. Too hot or too cold. It would have been a tad bit better if you could sit outside the cabin but there are no chairs provided. It also would have been nice to go and sit by a fire at the dining areas as you cant have a fire anywhere. Not a great experience and I would never stay here again.
I liked it was quiet
For the price breakfast should have been included and for being so big and fancy it should have balconies.
And all the shops are price gouging.
The central location made a terrific homebase for exploring the park over multiple days. Our room was spacious, clean, exceptionally quiet, and had a refrigerator, safe, and wonderful shower. The only downside was our timing -- many eating options had closed for the season. We will definitely stay here again.
