Stayed here for two weeks to attend a wedding. Great new hotel, so it was very clean and modern. Large rooms for Japan standards. We had two beds for my wife, 2 year old son, and myself. The beds were basically adjoined, so it was like having a king bed for the 3 of us. Awesome buffet breakfast, freshly cooked food, focusing on fresh local vegetables, both salad and in Japanese style dishes. We stayed here a while so we got to try lots of different dishes, and they were all superb. Most of the cooked dishes changed daily, so it didn't get too repetitive, though the staples remained the same day to day. The coffee was amazing!
The hotel also had a pillow "buffet" where you can choose from a variety of different pillows to use for sleep, with a range of firmness and heights to suit any style, and were all labelled. Pajamas were also provided, Japanese robe style.
There is a natural hot spring public bath, separate for both men and women, which was also great, open from 3pm to 9:30am. Coin laundry is available, 200 yen per wash, with free dryer use, and even laundry detergent was provided for free.
You could get "prizes" for not using the toothbrushes provided each day and returning them to the front desk, as well as not having your room cleaned or not changing your towels, prices included snacks and bottled water.
Staff were very friendly, we could use the high chair in the dining hall any time. Overall highly recommended!
