Nice room, lovely location set in well maintained gardens. Quiet.
However, WIFI none existent. We were told system was being re-booted after the rain or something and that it would be up again the following morning. It wasn't. Nor the day after.

Excellent facilities, convenient for the sights. And free informative activities on site
Lovely hotel. Only complaint is how much the restaurants charged for food. I understand that it would be more due to its location but these prices were ridiculous.
I really wished that they had a USB port in the room for easy charging. I also wished the entry door fit tighter or had a better seal so bugs would not get in so easily. Also the water bottles were way too expensive. It was clean and the transportation was very easy. The walk to town center was 5 minutes. For dining, Arnguli and Mangata were very good.
Rooms are spacious and clean. Multiple dining options that are within walking distance. Property is quiet, beautifully maintained. Loved the amenities and all the available activities, especially the guest laundry on-site. Would have been helpful to know that the camel rides needed to be booked in advance.
Location is what you are paying for and the location is great. On site grocery store had a good selection and reasonable prices. Tours and transportation were well organized.
You can see, that the resort has been around for a while…

We stayed for two nights in July. Hotel room had two beds which was great but barely enough space for our luggage. There are no ramps or lifts to get you to the top floor. With small kids this meant 4 trips with bags up and down. We had the buffet breakfast which was fairly expensive at $45pp. The area is very walkable and they had a lot of free options like garden walks and local tools talks. We also sat in on a didgeridoo lesson. Overall it was good.
The property is fine with nice outdoor spaces, but the rooms could use a facelift. It’s the extraordinary location (and lack of competition) that justifies the high price per night.
