Harrison is great but parts of this resort are in serious need of updating, stay in the east tower, it’s the most updated section. I had an issue with my first room and staff were amazing and moved me no problem!
Pools were great check in was crazy busy resort is dated but we came for the pools

The room we were in was not soundproof at all. Kids crying and stomping around early in the morning. For the price you pay, I expect much much better. Old room, smells old looks old.

We have stayed here before and sadly the reviews over the last year are correct. When you go into the lobby you expect the experience that reflects the price. However their check in process is tedious. Glad we got in before the rush because people were in that line for over an hour. The rooms are dated and the carpets cannot disguise the fact that they haven't been cleaned in ages - vacuuming can only do so much. It is clear things haven't been maintained - peeling paint in the room, mold in corners of the tub and around faucets. The sheets were clean and the beds were comfortable. We headed down to the hot springs but there were no staff at the entrance so we had to go to the front desk to get towels. (On the Saturday when the resort was full there weren't enough towels to re-stock so people had to start using room towels of which there aren't enough either.) No one was checking anyone accessing the hot springs - you are supposed to have a wrist band that gives you access along with your key card - so Saturday night the place was packed. Many people without wrist bands drinking, vaping, partying - fine - but there were groups of teens who had obviously let their friends in and the same for groups of young adults. Went to the lobby and drunk people were sleeping on the couches. More Carnival Cruise than relaxing stay at a resort.
Buffet was overpriced for the options available, but the service was excellent & the food was good.
Pools were relaxing and reminded me of a Mexican Resort.
Room was clean. The siiting area in main had a big fireplace and was welcoming.
Sara at the front desk made our girls weekend. She found us size inclusive robes (up to 4xl) and made feel like everyone else enjoying the pools. Great getaway!
