Our visit to this resort has been the worst stay we had in our entire lives! We stayed in the so called "heritage" building, which is a polite world for "old and stinky beyond imagination ". Here are some of the highlights of our stay:
- There was no one at the entrance to guide the guests.
- Had to wait more than half an hour in line to check-in. And the funny thing is that we had already gone through their online check-in. So basically it doesn't matter if you do the online check-in. Just a waste of time
- At the check-in, they told me that I have booked 3 rooms, while I had booked 2 rooms through Expedia. I had to prove that by showing them my Expedia proof of reservation. It took them a while to figure out what's going on while I was standing there having to deal with my toddler's nagging and frustration.
- They had a license plate on file which was not mine. God knows who's license plate was that!!!!
- Once we got to our old stinky rooms, we wanted to go to the hot springs, but we figured out there wasn't any bathrobes in our rooms. I called the front desk multiple times but I guess they didn't bother to answer. I had to go and walk around the hotel to find one of the staff to ask for bathrobes. It took them 20 minutes to bring those to us.
- Finally, in the billing, I noticed that I have been charged for watching two movies, one watched only 5 minutes and the other one for 20 minutes. And I was speechless to find out that for each one I was charged $28!!!!! for each mo
