The hotel did not have enough staff. the line up to check in was long and the room was not stocked with bathrobes when we got in. the next day the pool side was not cleaned and there were dirty cups and pitchers from the night before. we stayed in the old section which was really dated for the amount it costs to be there

Pricey but decent for a short relaxing stay

Nice relaxing stop for change of scenery after exploring interior B.C. Easy walk to explore small town. Fantastic restaurant (The Copper Room) on site for dinner; food was decent, but service and live music band were exceptional. There’s some other options for breakfast/lunch/snack as well, but didn’t try these. Rooms are dated, but spacious and clean. Hotel staff were not the most efficient: the wait for check-in & check-out is not bad, but there’s definite line-ups. The bigger issue is that the robes and towels for the hot springs were not in the rooms as they stated, & when we called to request delivery from housekeeping, the front lobby staff were rushed & did not listen carefully, leading to errors which then necessitated further calls & even longer waiting. The whole process took 2 hours… time which was taken from which we could have spent in the hot springs. Very disappointing. Not sure whether this is an understaffing issue or just an attitude problem. Other than that we had no other issues. As for the hot springs themselves, they’re not the fanciest, but not bad. A little crowded at night, and during the day a bit noisy due to kids (but there is 1 adult only pool). There are 4 hot spring pools (2 indoor, 2 outdoor), and 1 outdoor swimming pool. The pools are fairly simple, with no waterfalls or fountains. There’s also a simple steam room in the change room. Overall, a bit pricey, but a worth trying if you need something relaxing to change up the trip.

This property is tired and needs alot of work. The pools were nice (although are quite weathered). That's where it ends. The food at the hotel was subpar and the walkable restaurants in town are much better. The room was terrible. Something you would expect at a hwy stop motel. Dirty. Floors soiled and stained. Bathroom had no fan or window. Tub was gross.The room is unlevel. And the drawers in the room slowly open on there own so they can never be closed. The tv did not work when we got there. We had to fix it ourselves. There were no pool towels or robes in the room. Called to ask and were told "we have a runner available and will bring them right up". An hour later still no towels or robes and my fiance went to the front desk and was told they had none. When walking back to the room houskeeping on the floor below us had towels and robes on their cart and they refused to give us any. The beds were uncomfy. The pillows were terrible. The lamp shade had mold growing around the rims. I almost cant say anything good about the place ither than the beautiful town it is in and the outdoor area was nice. I would look elsewhere.

Pools were fun but main hotel rooms were bad.

Main hotel is pretty rundown and needs to be revamped. Beds were not comfy and the bathroom was pretty bad. Had to call maintenance twice for the two days we were there because of issues with the bathroom. But the pools and shared spaces were fun but crowded.

Stayed 2 nights in the west wing. Check in lady was nice and helpful. Room was older but liked having the toilet/shower separate from the sink. Good size closet. Needed new carpet. WiFi was bad-kept cutting in and out (kids said it was best in the closet). They tell you pool towels are in your room but there were only bath towels. Need to have them bring you pool towels as they don’t keep them at the pool. Front desk male gave me a hard time for asking for pool towels, when we were already using the pool. He wanted to send them to the room which doesn’t help if we’re already in the pool. Pools were smaller than they looked but still great. Good temperatures. Family pool is shallow and kids could touch in it. I wish the coffee shop had a few more hot breakfast options but not a deal breaker. Great location-town is very walkable. Wish we drove straight there and parked before heading to town for lunch (vs paying to park in town upon arrival).

My older kids and I had a week get away. We loved the pools and the fact we could hang out and swim at the lake. Everything you need is there at the resort or within walking distance. You can enjoy food at the local places. Then back to sit in the hot spring pools at the resort. Our room was clean and the beds were. very comfortabe. We had an amazing time! We definitely will be back!

The mineral pools are excellent. There has been only one functioning elevator in the East Wing for over a year, so guests must cram into one elevator.

Overall stay was good but the hotel is definitely looking tired and dirty. The fridge in our room did not work at all - why is is not noticed by housekeeping? The carpet in the room was full of stains. No robes or spare towels in the room. Damp towels etc lying in piles in the corridors at 4pm causing a musty smell. Clothing drying rack did not pull out at all - totally jammed. Light fixtures in the corridors full of dead bugs. Cracked and missing grout in the elevators. Dirt on carpet outside elevator not cleaned up after 2 days. Looks like hotel trading on old glory and management no longer care about the details

This resort is very nice! Our room was comfortable, but the carpet needs to be replaced. Lots of pool options. Nice to have an Adult Only pool. Not many staff on site. Lots of dining options walkable from the hotel, and even a few close hikes in the beautiful forest. The beautiful lake was right across the street.
