First off, I want to say that we had an excellent visit at Harrison Hot Springs resort. In spite of some transportation challenges getting there, it was a nice relaxing weekend. The mineral pools were great. The spa treatment and staff at the wellness spa centre were excellent. However, we did have some issues checking into the hotel. We arrive just after 4 PM the day of our Check-in and our room still wasn’t ready. We were in the process of arranging for our baggage to be stored until our room is ready, and then the person at the front desk indicated our room would be ready now. But they still have to bring fresh towels to the room. So we went up to our room, deposited our baggage, went for dinner, and then after returning Realized that the hotel had not sent the towels and bath robes up to the room yet. So we had to go back down to the front desk, and ask for the towels, and then the robes were eventually delivered later that evening. There were some issues with checking in with my service animal, and the hotel asked for ID that is not required to be produced in British Columbia, but I did provide them with the ID and they did make a copy of it. They still asked me to fill out the deposit form, but did waive the pet deposit for my service animal. Upon checkout, I did want to speak to the manager about the resort fee charges, including parking that we didn’t use. However, I never did receive the promise. call back from the manager.
