Arrived resort at 3:00pm, was there waiting in line to check in for almost an hour. Been told the room was not ready. Official check in time is 4pm ended up the room wasn’t ready until 5:30pm. Time wasted and room is not so clean especially the bathtub. I will not return.
Stayed in west tower right after long weekend. We arrived at 4:30pm with check in at 4pm & after approximately 30 minutes wait in a line were informed that rooms are not ready. No apologies, the front desk informed us that they don’t have to have rooms ready before check in time 🤔 after waiting for another 10 minutes for the bell boy to let us store our luggage at front desk we carried our staff back to the car with 2 small kids and went out for dinner. rooms & hallways are smelly, carpets look like they haven’t been washed in a long while. Paint was pilling on our bathroom door. Pool opens at 8am & open till 10-11pm (nice!!!). On the second day of our stay there were no towels at the pool (we waited for 2 hrs for them to arrive). When I came shivering in wet swim suit to front desk to inform the staff about towel situation (some lucky people kept their towels from the day before), the lady informed me that she is busy with the other client at the moment. Again no apologies or promise to solve the towel situation after she is done with the client. Nice pool area, beautiful area around hotel. Kids loved the playground at lake front. But staff attitude!!! :(
Good. Except a false alarm at 3am. Went outside and waited. No PA or staff to tell us when we could go back in.
Also our coffee maker didn’t work and power in corner plug went out

Small room
We were given the smallest room, although it was clean but looks really old, lamps by the bedside both not working, pillows were flat.
Checked in on time but was asked to wait as rooms weren't ready yet.
Overall staff were all friendly and helpful.

There is amazing picturesque nature. This is onw of the favorite olace to come!
Excellent buffet with variety foods!
Excellent Spa service!
But....Hotel needs renovation years ago!!!!
Hotel carpets smells awful! For the last 25 years I am coming to this wonderful place, this main hallway carpet still the same, absorbed all kind of kitchen and wet feet odours.
TiME FOR RENO!!!!
Opportunity to improve the pool lobby by cleaning the tables and provide more chairs around the tables so its always ready for the next guests to occupy.
The garbage was full.
Missed some items like a box of tissue paper was empty and 2 bottles of water missing for the keurig machine.
There was a false alarm at 3 am. Their fire alarm system worked that the guests evacuated their rooms immediately! The caretaker came to us immediately when he found out the cause of it.
It was a good stay overall
I like the nostalgic vibe of the resort. The staff are nice and friendly. They're keeping the place as clean as they could. Just the garden needs a really good clean up as it is not well maintained, would've have been nice to take good pictures if the landscape, plants, flowers, and statues there were well put together. It would be nice for a Halloween vibe though, which i also love. =)
positives: Hot pools and area were great, concierge friendly and helpful, room comfortable and clean
negatives: Fire alarm at 3am, common areas are filthy, run down and musty smelling. new carpet desperately needed everywhere!
Staff are friendly and the location is great but there is so much potential in this hotel that’s left unused. The decor is very tired, the room we stayed in was seemingly last decorated in the 1970s and the pool bar was inconsistent. There weren’t enough pool loungers and the outdoor pools themselves could do with a clean. A real shame.
