A quiet resort vibe in an otherwise dense urban setting. Loved the landscaped pool and deck area. The staff was excellent. The food quality and variety were delightful for breakfast. Would definitely stay here again.

For a 4 or 5 star hotel you would expect a bit amenities . A box of facial napkin, Ice machine, Coffee maker, Mini fridge , …etc This hotel is so dry and unfriendly not even a glass of water when people arrive late and don’t know the area, Would a bottle of water hurt upon arrival ??

Observation: The room already needs remodeling in the bathroom area. The lighting inside the room is very poor. The key cards are deactivated every two days, and this is not announced to the guest, creating discomfort.

The lobby was beautiful and well kept! And that was the best part. Bathroom door wouldn’t close, bugs were all over the bathroom floor and bedroom when we checked in. Shower couldn’t hold a consistent temperature. Made the mistake of asking for 6 sets of clothing to be washed. Took over 36 hours, was delivered partially, i had to call multiple times to get all my clothes back, and when i got them, they all smelt like old food and cigarettes. Smelt like they were washed in dirty water, no soap, and hung to dry in the employee break room. But wait there’s more…. It only cost 1,200,000 pesos to have my clothes returned to me worse than how i delivered them- that’s 274 usd! After complaining about all my clothes smelling terrible, the front desk sent two different people to “smell my clothes” they both agreed they smelt bad and wouldn’t charge me for the laundry service… Of course they refused to refund me the 274 usd for “washing” my clothes in hot dog water and refused to refund me for the service. I will never stay at a Dann Carlton ever again, and i will be sure everyone i do business with, will choose a hotel that is ready to execute simple hotel services without an act of congress and complete disjointed department communication and dishonesty. We did not receive food poisoning from the room service, so that is possibly the best part about Dann Carlton Medallin! Be ready to be disappointed, or just book something in the Hilton family 😂
