We had a fabulous overnight stay with our family of 5. The beds were so comfortable and the location was so convenient being near the train station and other facilities. The staff were very helpful and we had a lovely breakfast.

The room was a nice size for our family of four. Furnishings were a little run down and only one of our three lamps worked. Felt a little dirty, but not horrible. Breakfast was nice.

We stayed for 3 nights in early June. Breakfast was terrible, sausages were cooked like rubber, orange was water down , can't recognize as orange juice. Our room was one 1st floor, facing street. It was so noise and hard to sleep at all. There is no AC, and at least our room was difficult for elders as there are so many things to trip over, and steps inside the room. The location is good but I would not recommend any friends to stay.

The room was clean and spacious, bedding was clean. The location is perfect, Central Station is just across the road, we were able to see the Station from the window in our room. China town and Red District are both within walking distance. The biggest problem is how the toilet was positioned. The front of the toilet is too close to the wall, I am 5'1" and it was difficult for me to sit on the toilet, I had to turn a little bit in order to sit. Breakfast was included and was good but not great. I saw people working at the breakfast putting newly made bread on the shelf using just bare hands, no gloves or food clip.

The primary draw of this property is its excellent location. We were in a family room, so our room was very large. We ate at the restaurant for lunch and enjoyed the food. We really enjoyed the buffet breakfast. I did not like the fly invasion when we opened the windows, but we had a fly hunter in our group. I did not like the bathtub. The water was strong and had great temperature, but the partition is only a third of the way across the tub, and the water spewed onto the floor. The staff we encountered were amazing, professional, and very, very helpful. I would stay here on my next trip to Amsterdam and hope for the same front view of the river and the train station, even with the noise from the street all night long. We (four adults - two parents + two female recent master's program and medical school grads) really, really, enjoyed this hotel.

Staff was great. Breakfast at the hotel good. We stayed in 31 and it had a tight spiral staircase to get to the room. Also had cards to keep electric on in room. Would recommend bringing an additional card if you are traveling with someone. Great area to stay-centrally located.

Very unpleasant experience. We were placed in an annex a few doors down from the main hotel. There was endless noise until the early hours of the morning, and drugs were being dealt directly below our window (I had an excellent view). We got through the night by running a white noise app on my phone at high volume….but it would have been intolerable if we had needed to open the windows. The room furniture was shabby and the mattresses were worn-out. Don’t be fooled by the out-of-date online pictures. The only positive thing I can say is that the room and bath were very clean.

The hotel is across from the Central station, which is the reason we chose this hotel. A few of the tourists spots are within walking distance. Many food options and shopping in back of and around the hotel. The hotel is an old building withe dated furniture, but the bathroom is renovated and clean. Breakfast is included. Could be noisy at night depending on which side your room is on.

The Prins Hendrik is a wonderful hotel. The staff is friendly and very knowledgeable about what is available in the area. Whether for directions, tours or dining options. It is located close to the central station which gives you direct access to the airport. The area is draped in history.
