The staff do need to be more visible in the lobby area as they tend to hide behind the check in desk. The log]Bay Area does not seem to have any vibe and is somewhat boring visually and practically. You should have some lively music and decorations as the plain facade is plain,from my years of living hotels. Having some complimentary drinks would help drive more footfall in the lobby and the shop in the corner does not justice to any resident as they can purchase the same goods outside. Overall the rooms were fantastic and gym in the basement needs some ventilation,as I felt claustrophobic in the small confined space. You should maybe invest in converting one of the meeting rooms into a fully staffed gym,so that you will attract more patrons as the odd hours of openings of the gym are wierd for a hotel to have. Will definitely come back and hopefully you will be able to offer me an upgrade which was not even offered by check in staff.

The property was clean, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the food was good. It is a short tram ride to Amsterdam Centraal Station and a short tram ride away from other sites. The tram stops just across the street from the hotel which allows for ease of travel. Plenty of restaurants and shopping close by. Overall I highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel was clearly overpriced. The hotel staff were rude to guests. The elevator was not working and we had to pull our luggage up and down from the lower, basement level where our room was. The gym was only open for a small window of time during the day and the attendant in the gym questioned my presence when I was there. During the three day stay, we had to ask for additional towels and it took the staff until the next day to deliver. The extra roll out bad was a spring with a sheet. It was horrible.

Wonderful service
The hotel is in a great location. We walked to the “dancing houses” in about 15 minutes. The service at the front desk was impeccable - and I had a few various requests that they handled promptly and with friendliness.

The staff were great and friendly. One young man, I wish I had his name, assisted my friend in getting in contact with my as her US phone was not working. Over and above. We were very busy in the city and did not get to enjoy the wonderful looking tub. We will definitely book the same room on our next trip to Amsterdam.

Even if our room was ok after we pay for an upgrade, the room that we rent (superior room) had no sofa like on the picture when we rented and it was probably smaller than the 29 square meters that you said, and the fantastic picture of the hotel that is shown on the picture is not available. But the service was great

Mid. Se service is horrible. Plus, the hotel offers you drinks if the house kippers don't go. They will give you a ticket which is worth two drinks but if you go get them the asian waiters from the bar will call you dirty and make fun of you for using the ticket and be rude if you don't order food. Also, you can’t wait for your food in the lobby if you order something through an app, they told us the lobby area is only for waiting for taxis and it closes at 12. Not a great experience overall the customer service sucks.

Very comfortable all around with great beds. The tub lip is very high making it somewhat difficult to get in and out but the shower is very nice. Very conveniently located by the Leidseplein.

Excellent room, extremely helpful staff, very high quality breakfast. We will definitely stay here again. If you choose to have a green stay (no room service/sheet and towel changes), you need to request replenishment of the coffee service in your room. But every day you have a green stay the hotel gives you a voucher for a free drink of your choice in the bar. A very nice feature.

Happy with our stay, but would have liked to have had a set of drawers etc in the bedroom so as to be able to store smaller articles in and towel rails instead of 2 small door hooks to help dry the bath towels. Would be very happy to stay at the hotel again.
