Room big for 3 of us. We were at front of hotel so it was a little noisy. Reception staff fantastic. We had a medical emergency at midnight and the recption staff arranged our taxi and booked us an appointment at the out of hours GP surgery. So well done to the fantastic receptionist. Breakfast good - everything covered. Spot on location.

This hotel was amazing. The room was clean, breakfast was delicious and the staff were very friendly. It was very conveniently located, every tour we did left right outside our hotel and it is a 10 minute walk from the main station. Loved our stay here!

I absolutely loved this hotel and would stay there again and again. Its location is absolutely key, right next to the Dam Square, which felt like the “hub” of Amsterdam. It was walkable to canals, Royal Palace, Chinatown, and many other sites. When we arrived at the train station (huge,) it is only 12-15 minutes walk with luggage. Many restaurants were in the area, and the best souvenir shop was across the street. We found the Spar grocery store in a 5 minutes walk and stored our breakfast sandwiches in the refrigerator in the room to save $. Staff was super helpful for us to find our way. The room was quiet, comfortable, and spacious. I don’t think anyone would regret staying here!

Good Location but no complimentary tea/coffee!!

Location right in Dam Square making it easy to get around. Room was very stuffy but beds were quite comfortable and had a decent shower. Very disappointed there was no fridge in the room and no kettle to make a cuppa. There was a communal lounge where you could make coffee/tea but was not complimentary - you had to pay! For the price we paid you would think they would include complimentary tea/coffee!!!

Great location

Room had no AC, bedding was clean but not soft and towels were thin and rough, not fluffy. Carpet showed stains but was dark so it wasn’t very noticeable. It does have a weird smell, cleaning products or something. Room has no-frills vibe. Location was great and everything was walkable. Since room was at ground level, it’s noisy, even at night. My room was not in main building but the building next door and it requires multiple doors to get to the room. It’s ok for a short stay and feels safe enough. Staffs were polite and the place always look busy.
