Very small bedroom and bathroom but clean and comfortable. Staff always friendly and helpful. 24 hour front desk is good and the full breakfast every morning was great.

We stayed here a second time out of convenience. We booked the wrong size bed so we were offered a room with a double (queen size) bed. The upgrade was a little pricey on top of what we already paid. The Dolphin Suite had plenty of space for two adults. It may even fit a family with one or two small children comfortably. Close to Paddington Station. Good places to eat within walking distance. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast served was traditional English Breafast options.

Room was a decent size for 3 adults (seperate twin beds). Breakfast served by helpful staff. Bathroom typically small for the London area. Things to note: 1) Must leave room key at front desk when you exit the building. Collect upon returning to building. 2) Food not allowed in the rooms but the dining room is available to sit and have your meals. There are nice eateries within walking distance. Hotel is a short walk from Paddington Station. The hotel is quiet but the area is lively.

Unfortunately, there is no fridge in the room. Very convenient, safe and nice staff. Since weather was nice, there was no worry for air conditioner unit.

We loved the old world unique feel of the Mitre House. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Loved those breakfasts each morning! If we come back to London, we will definitely be coming to the Mitre House!

Only stayed for a night to end our 2 wk Europe trip as it is close to Paddington station where you catch the Heathrow Express; staff are nice; breakfast is good; a lot of restaurants nearby; can easily walk to Hyde Park and all the way to Buckingham Palace. For the price, it is expected that the inside of the hotel is dated. We don't mind that it was dated as it was actually clean. We just don't like the dated bed topper. It could be clean but the bed topper looks like it has been there for 50 years. Color is already fading and there are some piling. It's also making the room look dirty. Maybe if they lose the dated bed topper and not put anything at all, it would look better. I wouldn't mind staying here again.

Good place to stay. Not many hangers in wardrobe ok for a short stay. Helpful staff .Friendly feel. Excellent breakfast. Good transport links. Nice comfotable place to stay . Rather cold in the evening til you get into bed then cosy. Heating came on about 3am.

Some really positive features and some not so good. Hotel is located in a great area, lots of local amenities and close to several tube stations including Paddington. There is a lounge area and a bar, which are appreciated. Room - bed was reasonably comfy. TV included BT sports which is a nice bonus. Wall of the toilet was thin and the windows, although frosted, to the toilet and bathroom did not have blinds. Breakfast - cooked breakfast was a good quality and there are several options but only cornflakes for cereal. For the price, it wasn't bad, but also not outstanding. Haven't ruled out going back but also not an immediate choice next time we go to London.

Great value hotel about 5 minutes from Paddington Station. Friendly and welcoming. Tiny rooms and bathrooms but had all required amenities. Good breakfast included. Would definitely stay again when visiting London.
