The location was excellent. A tram stop is nearby & a short walk to Centraal station. The pillows are too flat & I felt itchy.

Our room (double and a single) was on the 5th floor. It gave us a good view of the area. The room was clean and comfortable, but the washroom was enclosed in frosted glass so there was limited privacy. The staff were friendly and helpful. The treats, water, and coffee in the lobby was a plus. The area was busy, but it felt safe and was both walkable and close to public transit.

left card on door to clean room returned to find card back in my room but room not cleaned then given 2 complementary drinks card on requesting drinks in afternoon was embarrassed to be told that the free drinks offered for their lack of service could only be redeemed before 3PM NO CUSTOMER SEVICE AND I WILL NEVER STAY AT THIS HOTEL AGAIN

First, they put us in a very small room we did not reserve. Then bathroom was overflooded after taking one shower, and after complaining, they gave us a better room, which was on the picture when we ordered the hotel. This room is not convenient if you stay 4 nights, because there are no night stands, no drawers, just little closet without shelves. Lidia at front desk was very unfriendly. The location was great, everything closed by.

We loved it here. The room was a bit tight for size. We were not able to open both our suitcases at the same time. We loved the free coffee in the lobby and the lemon water. If I returned to Amsterdam I would stay here again.

Good stay

Great location, short walk to central station and on the tram line for the museum area. Lots of restaurants nearby. Staff were excellent. Room was small but that may have been because I’m a solo traveller.

I recently stayed in the Westcord Hotel City Center Amsterdam and unfortunately, my experience fell short due to poor communication and lack of follow through. While the property itself may have its strengths, proper coordination is an essential part of guest experience.
