I had called earlier in the week for an early check in but when I got there one woman at the front desk was extremely abrasive and asked for the name of the person that spoke with. She said that was impossible and they were sold out. She reluctantly told me that she would call me when the room was ready. She never called and I just checked in at 5 or so. Not a great start… Otherwise the room had a musty smell and the bed was very uncomfortable and squeaky. There are a ton of hotels in that area - I’d recommend going somewhere else (even if it’s further away).

This is a no frills hotel that is close to Clemson University events. It’s a 20 - 25 minute drive to shopping in Anderson. There are a lot of restaurants within a few miles as well.

The tv channels listed in the guide were not available and the front office was not able to fix the problem. Towels were old and worn thin. Small stall shower. Shower supplies were not adequate. Very expensive…not worth the cost.

I liked the theme of hotel. Some of the things in room were a little wonky. The refrigerator was unbalanced and room had a musty smell. Other than that we had no issues

There wasn’t very much to like about the property and there was no power the first night we got there and they did not discount our rate. No power, no hot water we were led to our room by the person at the desk with the flashlight
