The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, especially their maintenance staff. We weren’t able to use the indoor pool or other facilities, but the room itself was good. Except for the shower liner: it smelled like mildew, like it hadn’t been changed out or washed in a while. However, one text to the front desk and the curtain was switched out within minutes.

Our stay was awesome, the only negative I can say was that the complimentary breakfast was not so good, but it wouldn't deter me from not staying, seeing how it was free. It just could have been better.

The staff were friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. There is a Chili’s next door and behind it is The Chateau which is a really good restaurant. I had a very nice stay.

This property has been updated, the rooms were clean and as expected. Housekeeping did not come during our entire 5 night stay. The breakfast was not great. The waffle makers were broken, the sausage looked microwaved and grey. Even the bread was not good, I'm not even sure how that is possible. Do not recommend the LaChateau next door, but there is a Chili's next door so maybe that is better. 30-60 minutes from Boston depending on traffic. We did feel safe.

I found the front desk clerk very rude. I paid extra and reserved a room at this hotel because pets were allowed. My children and I left for a half hour to get something to eat our first night and apparently our dog was barking when we got back we had been locked out of our room with our dinner that we brought back going cold. I ran down to the front desk to find out what the issue was with our room keys and had been told that we were locked out. I had to sign a form that was never even explained to me while the front desk clerk shamed me and shouted " the dog barking has got to stop"... I was humiliated and I felt completely disrespected and even though the manager attempted to be polite about it the situation ruined our entire trip. All of that money was wasted on that room because then I was afraid to make any noise whatsoever. I wouldn't let my 5 year old jump and play in the room and we had to carry our dog to our trip to Salem for fear that we would be asked to leave the hotel if we left him and he barked. My children and I traveled 6 hours for that trip and we were unable to do anything we wanted to do which left my little one and my teenager very disappointed because we had to carry the dog with us everywhere. I felt extremely uncomfortable staying in that hotel and all I wanted to do was stay gone. I couldn't wait to check out and go home. I wasted a lot of money and to say that I was disappointed in my heart I'll stay is an understatement, never again. Just awful.

The staff was nice and helpful when we arrived. The staff working when we left was not helpful. There was 1 lady helping someone and the other just standing there. When I asked her to drop off keys and check out she told me to talk to the other lady. I was trying to hurry because we had a flight to catch. Do better. The room had no extra toilet paper and only had 2 towels and 2 wash clothes. We were staying 3 nights so that didn’t make sense.

Staff was great and it’s not their fault, maybe my nieces luck and mines, The issue was on the second morning of our 4 day stay, we noticed a rat running around our room on the 3rd floor, we immediately called front desk they did refund us one night and switched us to a new room on the second floor unfortunately it was right above the lobby and next to the elevator so it did get noisy at night time, while packing we did start to notice little rat poops in our stuff.

The hotel was clearly short-staffed, and when we checked in, we were informed that our room would be cleaned on the third day of our stay. However, despite staying for five nights, our room was never cleaned, and we were not provided with fresh towels or toilet paper throughout our stay. We had to ask for clean towels and toilet paper on the 4th day of our stay. This lack of basic service was disappointing. The staff was friendly.

Fantastic hotel! They randomly upgraded my wife and I to one of their king suites because it was late and the room was available for the night. They absolutely didn't have to do that, but it was nice that they cared about the enjoyment of people staying.
