Discover world-class outdoor recreation at this newly built Angel Fire vacation rental located right up the hill from the Angel Fire resort chairlifts! Recently finished in October of 2018, 'Fox Tail Lodge' is a custom 3-bedroom, 3-bath home for up to 10 guests. High ceilings, rustic accents, and reclaimed wood and stone highlight the living space throughout, while public access to the Angel Fire Country Club and surrounding activity ensures endless fun!

Upon arriving at 'Fox Tail Lodge,' a private and flat hilltop invites fun and safe activities for guests of all ages. After a day filled with adventure, fire up the charcoal/gas grill on the covered patio before sinking into the 8-person hot tub - enjoying the beautiful tree-filled and mountain views as you soak.

Inside, a wide open floor plan allows you to spread out and keep the group entertained with ease. Unwind underneath the cathedral ceilings as natural light floods through floor-to-ceiling windows, switch on the gas stone fireplace, and tune into family favorites on the flat-screen Smart TV.

The fully equipped kitchen features upper-end, stainless steel appliances, plus all the essential amenities that allow the luxury of never having to leave the house! Once you've whipped up a gourmet, 3-course meal, set the elegant dining table and sit down to toast your vacation with loved ones.

Between a bedroom suite with a queen bed and 2 guest bedrooms with 2 queen beds and 2 twin/full bunk beds, this home offers ideal sleeping arrangements for the whole group. Each bedroom also comes with a private bathroom, while a full washer and dryer allow you to keep your vacation wardrobe fresh and tidy.

Angel Fire has many activities for all seasons! Thanks to this fantastic vacation getaway, you'll have easy access to them all. During the summer months, make sure to head to the bike park - Angel Fire summer mountain biking is now rated in the top three for the US.

The winter months are just as breathtaking with day and night skiing, snowboarding, tubing, kid sledding and, of course, snow-mobile tours. The ski drop off is located right down the street from the house, making a day on the slopes effortless! Additionally, Angel Fire is just a stone's throw from two other destinations that are big tourist attractions: Red River and Taos.

Take advantage of the public Angel Fire country club, offering all of the amenities your higher-end country clubs have like a pristine 18-hole golf course, tennis, fitness center and pool, spa, fine dining, and a private wine room with storage for 1,800 bottles. The country club is open year-round at an elevation of 8,600 feet with views of Wheeler Peak - the tallest peak in New Mexico.

The Angel Fire Resort also offers zip-lining, scenic chairlift rides, disc golf, cross-country biking, horseback riding tours, hiking trails through the mountains, and ATV/off-roading tours in 4-wheel drive vehicles through miles and miles of well-marked jeep trails. There are also lake and river activities such as rafting, fishing, kayaking, and paddle boarding. Other adventures like hot air balloon rides, wine festivals, and much more can be found here too!

Great vacation home in Angel Fire
Our family loved this home. Great location - close to Angel Fire but seems remote due to design. Beautiful views from the back patio and hot tub. The home is well designed. It’s easy to unload and load as you can park right by the front door (covered parking) with only a step up into the house. Kitchen was well stocked for making basic meals. Three nice bedrooms with their own closets/bathrooms. We had our four year old son with us and had a wonderful time! Highly recommend.

This house was perfect for us! The king bed was for my parents. My sister and her family had one room and myself and kids had the other. It was a lovely view and mule deer came to the back porch everyday. It was close to the ski slopes, less than 10 min, so we could drop off and pick up people as needed. Would stay here again.

Second Time At This Property
Beautiful cabin in Angel Fire. This was our second time here and we had a great time. Everything was stocked, which was great. My only rating that was not 5 star, was the cleanliness. Perhaps the management, or owner find a new company to clean. Place was not as clean as the first time upon check-in. Other than that, it was great!

We had a party of 8 (two families with kids). The cabin exceeded our expectations! Beautiful view, no neighbors in sight, close proximity to ski area, hot tub, updated, and kid friendly rooms! And the deer family that visited every afternoon was the cherry on top! Will definitely stay here again!

The home was absolutely perfect. Beautiful location and minutes from Angel Fire. The amenities were even more than were listed. Kitchen was fully equipped to allow cooking of full meals. Plenty of towels and blow dryers in all 3 bathrooms. Just a wonderful experience and we will return this is location.

What an amazing house! This was by far our favorite Vrbo house that we have stayed in. The location was perfect and the view off the back porch was to die for. You can’t get much better. The house was clean and had everything stocked that we needed. The hot tub was big enough for all of us. We had a wonderful time and we didn’t want to leave! We will definitely be back!

Spring Break 2021 in Angel Fire
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home among the pines of Angel Fire. We skied several days during our week-long stay, cooked some great meals and tried several local places (that were open), as well. Most of all, we spent time relaxing as a family. It was a lovely getaway and much-needed retreat from the craziness of the last year. ❤️

Very magical place
This was the perfect location to get our family together after months of quarantine. It’s a spectacular nature spot. We enjoyed our visits by deer every morning and there are great hiking trails near the house. The house is beautifully furnished with every need anticipated. Our host made himself available to answer questions and problem solve although we had no problems at all. We will definitely be back!

Overall, a wonderful experience with the exception of Evolve.
My husband and I travel extensively and have rented many homes. The house was awesome! Beautiful view, centrally located and well stocked. We had a house in Angel Fire for 11 years and still visit multiple times a year. There is definitely attention to the guests needs. The bunkbeds in each of the guest bedrooms are definitely a plus. The property manager, Al is fabulous! He was incredibly responsive and extremely helpful with not only the arrival but also with pre-arrival questions. He was always available for any questions throughout our stay. So with all this being said, it is unfortunate that the rental company, Evolve had a significantly negative impact on our stay. We wanted to add one day to our stay (the house was available). I sent a request for the additional night … no response. I spent hours on the phone trying to reach them, only to be disconnected. The property manager finally contacted them and they said they would contact me immediately, no response. Luckily, we worked with the property manager to arrive a day early. 4 days into our stay Evolve sent an email (one which you cannot respond) saying they have charged my credit card for the additional night (2x times the agreed daily rate). At this point, we are going to have to dispute the charge to get resolution. So unfortunately, regardless of the how much we enjoyed the house, it is unlikely we will ever rent a home that Evolve is the rental company. It is truly unfortunate for the owners. As long as you have no changes or questions, I assume Evolve is fine but to ignore a customer for days then just state is due to COVID19, unacceptable!

Wonderful family getaway!
Our family had a wonderful time at this beautiful home to spend a weekend celebrating my husband's birthday. We had plenty of room for a group of 6 adults and a 3-year old. Great meals were made in a beautiful kitchen with everything you would ever want or need. We loved playing games in the living room with the gas fireplace and fantastic views! The hot tub was a hit! Our only regret was not getting to enjoy the fire pit, due to windy conditions. We will just have to come back! Al was great and took care of our every need in a matter of minutes! We will be back!

We took our family of 10 to Angel Fire for Christmas & stayed in this beautiful mountain home. It was the perfect place for all of us, plenty of room, a beautiful view, very private, we had our own mountain for sledding., we couldn’t have asked for anything better. The home had every amenity you could think of. It was hard to leave this beautiful place!! I would highly recommended this home!!!
