My room had a high vacum noise. The receptionist was a ware of the situation as other customers complained about that before. Still, she booked me that room anyway in the first place even though other rooms were available on the same date as I have checked with different booking websites.
The solution from the receptionist was to keep the window open all night to stop the noise. Also, she pointed out that it worked before with other guests. However, having a low temperature during night and strong wind, I would risk catching cold and destroy my vacation. When I insisted to refuse the solution, they offered me an upgrade for one night free of charge. However, I had to pack again that night, go to the other room and then pack my stuff again the next morning before 11:00 and leave them to the receptionist so that I could move to another room after 15:00. Basically packing and unpacking three times in two nights.
I could discuss several good solutions they should have offered from the first day, but I just came to relax not to discuss!
