The hotel is really good. The service is amazing. Food is delicious and the view to the Nile is priceless.

This is such a grant property with beautiful spacious rooms and the view is spectacular. The restaurants in the hotel are great. The staff is very courteous and helpful.

We had an excellent stay at Kato Dool to experience Nubian culture. The hotel staff was excellent in communicating and picking us from airport. The room was beautiful and the best part was the food. We had dinner and breakfast both were excellent. They also arranged the drop off to our cruise.

In addition to being a nice place to stay (we stayed there in 2019, and 2024), we love all the artwork in the building and on the grounds--the sculptures and the mosaics and stained glass. NEVER remove them in the name of Modernism. Keep them! They give the hotel a timeless elegance. Also, thank you for relighting your neon sign on the roof, and using the original neon tubing where possible, rather than LEDs which rot in the sun over time, whereas neon is glass, and made by hand. I restore vintage neon signs here in the US, and they are a wonderful craft!

This property is truly a gem. It is far from the airport but very much worth the experience. The staff and the Nubian hospitality was wonderful.
