It was my first time to Europe and that maybe the issue, but I had to go to the desk 3 times to ask about getting into my room as I had trouble with the key system there and then the lights working in the room. Staff never offered to actually come to my room and help. The restaurant was nice and the airport shuttle was a very nice service. The room was clean and I had a beautiful view of the sunrise over the ocean/beach area.

My husband and I stayed in this hotel because it was recommended for having a shuttle to and from the Athens airport. We were unable to have the rooms that I reserved because of an error by the hotel. The shuttle was undependable and the breakfast was of poor quality. I would never stay here again.

The hotel is in a great location. Its near a beach and there are restaurants around. The restaurant at the hotel has great food and the breakfast is included. And there is a free shuttle to and from the airport.

We chose the Avra Hotel due to its proximity to the ferry. The bedroom and bathroom was small but adequate for our short stay. Breakfast was great.

This was an excellent first stay for our trip. Everything is very walkable and there are great food options around! The only complaint I have was the light above the door would not turn off and was very bright. It could have been user error but I couldn’t find a switch anywhere.

Hotel Avra is in a nice little town outside of Athens about 25 minutes from the Airport. They had a shuttle bus which was good. They had many restaurants to choose from but we came in late from our flight and only a few were open. Our only complant was that we were bothered by mosquitoes in our room and did not get good sleep. But aside from that it is a nice hotel with a good free buffet breakfast. It was in the port area where the ferry to some smaller islands outside of Athens leave from. At night you can see the ferries there. The staff at the hotel were all nice. They have comfortable beds there and the shuttle back to the airport was very prompt.

I liked how they offered free shuttle to the airport. Was quick and easy. The room however smelled like cigarettes. We stayed at many hotels during our trip and this was the first one that I could barely breathe, had to open up the balcony door. The staff looked tired at the time of check in and not as welcoming.
