The room was amazing: large, clean and comfortable. The area didn’t seem the have a restaurant within walking distance but there were delivery options available.

Extremely disappointed.
It looked like either the management didn't do a good job training the cleaning staff, or the cleaning staff just didn't care. When we walked into the lobby to check-in, they had two large chairs (for guests?) that were covered in grime. I thought to myself, "Surely these chairs are being disposed of because they look so awful." That was not the case. It was their standards guest chairs for the check-in area. When we got to the room, we found that it was dirty, with spots all over the walls... on the carpet, on the sofa, and in the bathroom. It actually looked like they had attempted to make some bathroom repairs and things went wrong. The coffee maker didn't have the tray for the single serving packets of coffee, so we had to prepare it like tea — steeping it in the water. There were drilled holes in the furniture (coffee table and drawers). Additionally, the sink in the bathroom was missing a bolt for the handle to allow it to shift from cold to hot. It would turn on, but wouldn't change temperature. Two other details: we could hear airplanes landing all night long, which isn't surprising, but you would think it would be a little more soundproofed. And when we left, numerous cars parked in firezones, making it almost impossible to get out if you had a larger vehicle. I would have asked for another room, but we were so tired from the events of the week and had such an early morning, I didn't have it in me to go argue with the staff about getting a different room.

Nice place to stay for overnight. There was a big leak by the toilet, which was not good. There was not an ice bucket in the room either. I had to track one down. Other than that, the place was nice. The bed was clean and comfortable.

ATL airport late night stay
Booked the room to get some rest after flying in at 11pm. We travel often & this was the longest check in experience I've ever had. Hotel is very close to the airport, but by time we actually got into our room it was 12:30am. The gentlemen at the desk was polite but slower with computers. Only 3 people ahead of us checking in but would get skipped over if someone came up to buy snacks... Which took as long as check in for him to to ring up. The room itself was very nice but unfortunately did not give us much rest. Sleeping was difficult because we could hear people coming in and out of a door nearby all night that was directly behind the wall of the bed, so the headboard shakes when the door is closed and lots of noise from the lobby in front of room (ice machine, staff opening doors, ppl coming in late). The smoke detector occasional beeped through the night, then the maid started vacuuming in front of our room at 9am. We had asked for late check out since we didn't get into the room until late, but still woke up to the maid knocking just before 11am. I expected more peace & quiet from a king executive suite.

The hotel ratings are a lie. We arrived to see a huge part of the outside overhang damaged. The room had a ripped area on the headboard. Room was dirty and stains everywhere. 2 towels for 4 guest. When I called down to front desk I was told to come and get them. I told them about the gross headboard and silence about it. It looks like the room was falling apart and they tried to cover up all the dirt and damage and did an awful job. Absolute scam that this has an 8 on reviews. Filthy, damaged stuff, tiny beds. Awful. Will not use hotels.com again if this is what I get.

The front desk staff was super nice and that was the only pleasant part of my stay. The first room I was out in smelled so bad. I was moved to another room that smelled better but was so dirty. It appears that the room is never cleaned. The couch was absolutely disgusting. There was hair all over the bedding and towels. I could not even shower because the bathroom was extremely dirty. I am very dissatisfied in my stay and will not be staying here again.

I really don’t leave reviews often because I am very minimalist when it comes to hotels. I typically only spend enough time in them to sleep so I don’t need much BUT I will not stay here or at any of the surrounding area hotels again. While the room itself was okay, aside from being very outdated, loud AC unit, and a mildew smell… the area is NOT good. Upon arrival I immediately noticed broken glass in the parking lot. My first thought was car vandalization. So after doing research and filtering reviews with “cars or robbery” I found tons about multiple car break ins. I have never stayed in ATL so I didn’t think the immediate area near the hotel was “bad”. When you look up college park, it explains everything you need to know. We were only going to be sleeping for 4-5 hours to catch our flight so we ended up leaving our car doors unlocked in the event somebody wanted to break in, they wouldn’t break the glass because it was a rental. We wouldn’t have had time to do a police report. In the middle of the night there is no staff monitoring so people come & go and linger in the hotel to “hang out” and are extremely loud. Just do yourself a favor, don’t stay in this area.

Our room was huge. The bed was very comfortable. Hot breakfast was good too -- eggs, sausage, waffles, coffee, juice, etc. Great location for travelers in & out of Atlanta-Hartsfield. You will notice that the property needs some updating. Wear is evident. But we had a great room at a fair price. This one "checked most of the boxes" for us.
