The hotel itself was nice, but we were very disappointed in the room and the floors! The carpet in our room had a noticeable tear and was dirty, there was a cob web hanging down from one of the ceiling lights, the headboard was dusty, the bar to hang up clothes was too low... if you had pants it would drag on the floor ( and I'm short!), the bathroom light fixture was filthy and the plastic cover was a little more than slightly open. The carpet in the hallway was dirty and buckling, there was someone who ordered room service and the cart was outside their room from sometime in the evening until at least the afternoon the next day. Not to mention I've seen trash on the floors through out.... they really could have done better than they did ( or didn't do) considering the hotel that it is!

The hotel told us that the room may be ready early, it was ready late. This was very inconvenient being that I ran a race and was sitting in my sweat all day. The hotel had a hole in the ceiling of the bathroom by the shower, the door under the TV was broken and failing apart, the area near the refrigerator was disgusting. There was some sort of marking on the ceiling above the bed.

the worst part of my stay was the staff. most of the women checking guest in were horrible. The attitudes they have!!!! also when booking some where it needs to tell you that the dennis tower is like a motel. the rooms are smelly and nasty. i did pay an extra $60 to upgrade to the bally tower, but somewhere should explain the difference. overall i will not be staying at Ballys anymore because of the rude customer service reps. they never greeted me when i went to the desk. NOTHING BUT ATTITUDE
