Staff has no knowledge of where to go on a hike we wanted to, where to rent stuff, where to get to the stairs the bell tower. She lives there but had no idea where anything is. Staff had attitude when we asked if room is ready earlier. No place to refill water. Photo makes hotel look larger than it is. There was a water jug 1st day. They took it away fit the next todays. I asked they said they don’t know why. Should have a water station or fountain or a recycling bin. Was not worth the money .

Friendly staff, and very spascious comfortable rooms. A bit noisy because thr room faced the courtyard.

Decent hotel. Needs updating/upgrades. Hot tub was broken. Air conditioner in room was in corner and cold air got trapped so room stayed warm. We requested a fan and they gave us one but no plugs in the room. We then had to ask for an extension cord. Eventually, we were comfortable. Great location. Everything is pretty walkable. Has a cute courtyard area with different shops and services behind the hotel.

Stayed here for 3 days and room was super comfortable. Hotel is walking distance to everything. For the breakfast that is included you get a choice of Pastries, orange juice coffee and oatmeal. The only downside was the Jacuzzi was under maintenance.

The retail space downstairs had a lot of options for dining, shopping, and activities. There's an arcade, a soap shop, spa, art space (where you can make a painting!), early-open coffee/sandwich spot, fancy restaurant, souvenier shop to name a handful. Very walkable to Casino/Dive Park for any divers (8min walk), and in the main town area. Cute working fireplace in the room (but the lighting is not great, mostly blue light and flickers, could not use it as mood lighting). The hotel soaps smell nice. Would definitely stay there again.

This was our first trip to Catalina and it was a great place to stay. Easy to get to from the ferry. We rented E-bikes and could strap our bags on the backs. Metropole offered a nice continental breakfast. We also enjoyed the rooftop jacuzzi. They also let us check in early and out late. We left our bags and came back to get them after exploring for our second time. Wonderful dining options too!

Likes: baggage storage and call when room ready, nice room, enormous bathroom (accessible even though we didn’t reserve that), balcony with 2 chairs overlooking courtyard, mirrored closet doors and bright bathroom mirror, large shower and good water pressure, refrig in room, location, M restaurant Disliked: no comfortable chair in the room, wood floor felt gritty, minimal continental breakfast and no tables, dresser drawers didn’t work, small vanity in huge bathroom, entry door warped so light shows through, too expensive

The staff was friendly and accommodating The hotel was close and vicinity close to all shopping. The restaurant and bar downstairs was fabulous. Our European breakfast was very good. I highly recommend this hotel.
