Great ambiance, great food, great staff. However, The world hyatt/ unlimited vacation club enrollment process is very similar to timeshare haggling. Unpleasant, hidden agenda and downright lies. The fact that this 5 star establishment even persuades guests to have a “90 minute” presentation is criminal. Due to hotel zone, there is no “private beach”. The hotel pool and activities are great. However you have to wake up early for a prime poolside chair or pay for a cabana. & the wait time for the restaurants are horrendous… The foods great though. Ya win some, ya lose some.

Staff was friendly and kind, however the food was exceptionally disappointing. I was with a party of 4, multiple poor dining experiences, especially in the Italian restaurant, where the food was terrible. Also, rented a cabana, ordered fish tacos which were inedible. Needless to say for the amount of money spent, this was very disappointing.

The property is beautiful, and he customer service is amazing. While they did have many activities this isn’t a “party” hotel but it’s so nice it was ok. Beach was very close. Room service food was bad but restaurant food was nice.

Not exactly an all inclusive... beware of up charges in every restaurant and room. Was told VIP Gold member upgrade was not available 2 days prior to arrival but we could spend $90. a night and upgrade room on arrival!!? We paid for upgrade but really didn't get much in return. (maybe a higher view so we didn't have to look at the old hotel next door) Not much to do onsite. No free equipment to use at the beach like some other resorts. Beach is nice. Staff friendly. Nice entertainment each evening. Beware of time share lady in lobby who says she has discounts if you spend breakfast with them... literally hit us up 15 min after arrival. Hadn't even got to the room yet. Enjoyed room service breakfasts on the patio each morning. Housekeeping was good. Overall a good experience but we have stayed at better here in Cancun.
