We stayed at this hotel for the eclipse, and the staff were not helpful:
- They refused to reduce our stay from two nights to one, despite calling a week in advance.
- Hotel staff called and demanded payment for the full amount of the room for both nights at 3 PM on the first day, 5 hours before we arrived, threatening to cancel the reservation if they didn't receive payment. We hadn't even left home yet.
- Front desk staff refused repeated requests to provide a receipt, insisting it would be emailed to me "by expedia" even though I reserved the room on this site. At time of writing this (3 days later), I have yet to receive a receipt.
The room itself was nice, but it was overshadowed by the whole experience with the staff.
I can't in good conscious recommend staying at this property. I've never been treated more poorly by hotel staff. I definitely don't expect this treatment from a chain hotel. Stop somewhere else, they aren't trustworthy.
