It's an excellent place. I've read some mixed reviews after I booked but before I arrived, and many points are valid, but they shouldn't be taken out of perspective. The hotel is where the MRT meets the BTS Sukhumvit Line, and there are 2 x 4-lane roads crossing there too. The area is busy, there is noise, but the earlplugs the hotel provides are good quality and help a lot.
I stayed in a superior room - though still well-priced, and it was clean, spacious, with a comfortable bed. Bathtub in the bathroom, water pressure was good, and the wifi was very reliable during the day. In the evenings it was a bit slower. What I appreciated was that the air conditioner was positioned in a way that it didn't blow the cold on the bed, which is not the case in many other hotels.
Staff were kind and helpful, they spoke good English, and the breakfast coffee was excellent. I have only good things to say about this place.
There are only local channels on the TV, but an HDMI (my own) connected to my laptop helped.
They provide slippers, though the ones I brought were slightly more comfortable.
