I travel quite frequently and have stayed in numerous hotels world wide ranging from 2 stars to 5 stars.
In my current trip to Bangkok itself , I changed 4 hotels before arriving at this accommodation. This is no doubt the best bang for buck accommodation that you will get in Bangkok .For the price that is available on Expedia or other hotel booking websites , it offers a lot of real estate. The room itself is big , I would say more than 1.5 times that you would normally get in other hotels at this price . It has a big attached bathroom and a balcony too . Not just that , they also have a functional gym and swimming pool . I say functional as in my experience a lot of sellers list their property as having a gym , but most of the equipment have been broken for ages and not been repaired. The internet(WiFi) in the rooms is excellent .Again , a lot hotels claim free wifi , but doesn't work in rooms or are too slow .Staff is polite and helpful.
The only con in this hotel is its location - its a bit interior from the Sukhumvit road -about 10 mins walk and away from city heartthrob. But they do provide a free tuk tuk road ride to the Sukhumvit road and the Ekkamai BST / Gateway malls are just 5 min from there. I don't normally write reviews , but this hotel merits one . I would recommend it to anyone looking for a good value for money getaway in Bangkok.
The air condition in the living area was not working only blowing out hot air. Only one lightbulb in living area, it died the second night but staff came to replace bulb and added another to the other socket. Bedroom door had the lock on the wrong side, so instead of locking from the inside, someone can lock you from the outside living room instead. Bathroom had a bunch of ants crawling everywhere by the sink. Ledge by the sink was tilting so you couldn't put anything on it without having it fall off. Toilet room had mold on the ceiling and toliet sat weird cause it was on the edge of a ledge, felt like your feet is dangling or if you sat on the throne wrong it would of fell over. Shower area had spider webs in the corner. Pool had broken tiles (per sign in the lobby) so didn't even go to the pool. Almost didn't get my 500 baht deposit until I asked for it. Best thing is probably the working elevator and the free tuk tuk service to the main road (8am-8pm)since it is about a 10-15 minutes walk and a 20-25 minutes walk to the BTS.

Ok to stay if you are on budget
Staffs are friendly and helpful. Tiles are broken in the swimming pool so don't recommend using it. Hotel is at back alley n hard to locate even for locals. Hotels in desperate need of renovations. Things are falling apart. Some room do not have good ac. Unless you are on a budget, don't recommend this hotels. Wifi is horrible in this hotel.

Hotel at some distance from train station
We reached late at night to the train station taxi guys were not ready to go till hotel so we had to walk with luggage until the hotel that was any 1.5 in also during check-in they took top THB deposit for which though I asked for receipt the guy said he will note down in their books while checkout the receptionist was not ready to give back the deposit without a dreceipt. This caused a lot of anxiety at the last moment for us

OK crash pad for a night, if you can find it.
When leaving the hotel you have to walk about 10 minutes to get out of a maze of small alleys. Must have GPS to find this spot. Staff nice enough. Room was large, but only had one open electrical outline in the whole room! Gym small and basically unusable, and the pool has broken tiles on the bottom so watch out! Internet usually worked well, but didn't work all the time.
I am thinking we got placed in a room that is never used. It looked nothing like the photos. We didn't pay much for this hotel, so my expectations were already low. But the room we stayed in no one should pay for. There was mold all over the bathroom, no phone, two sets of bunk beds with no mattresses on top. There is a note that says you are allowed 1 roll of toilet paper a day. (We thought that was funny). There is a note at check in that says to use the pool with caution as tiles in the pool are broken.
Not one taxi driver we used could find the hotel and had to call to get directions every time. (Sometimes they answered). On the bright side they do offer tuk-tuk service to the main road between the hours of 8am-8pm. They office staff were ok.
The hotel was just okay to spend a night.
It was not good for spending family during a day.
Bit old.

Reasonable hotel in low budget
Hotel is 600 m from main road, and ekamai station is not far. Hotel also runs shuttle for free drop / pickup from main road between 6 am to 8 pm. Overall its a good hotel.

Good value
Pleasant staff, balcony, good shower, quiet location, free Tuk-tuk ride up to the main road.
Pleasant stay at this hotel in an okay area but the room needed some attention whiz is over due for about 15 years.
The front desk staff were friendly and helpful
Lots of old and furniture in the room that looked bug infested and in the stairway there are old furniture and appliances just left there that made the property look disgusting
I stayed here for one night with a friend. We were impressed by the size of the room — in fact four rooms, including a living room, bedroom, bathroom and toilet cubicle. So the place was very spacious and comfortable, but there were a few problems ... 1) The WiFi was unreliable. 2) The staff forgot to prepare towels for us. 3) The staff don't seem to speak English very well, or be very organised.
Overall, however, it was a decent place; decent value for money.
Hotel is clean but not at all as advertised. We booked a 'junior suite' which was supposed to have a sitting area which it didn't. TV, old CRT, had only one channel and broken remote, not cable as advertised. No fridge in room, as advertised. Pool has broken tiles at bottom and is dangerous. Some gym equipment broken and useless. Staff were friendly but hotel facilities are well overstated.
A run down old apartment building that has had a few floors turned in to "hotel rooms". Nothing like the pictures and very far from anything interesting. Expect to spend anything you saved on extra tuk tuk and train fairs.
