Loved, loved, loved, our stay here!!

We loved Bar Harbor Motel!!! The rooms were clean, they had a cute retro theme. The staff was so friendly and helpful. Answered all our questions, if they didn’t know, they would find out and come tell us. They suggested a place for dinner and even called up and made reservations for us. They had activities every day. S’mores by the campfire, make your own trail mix. There were chairs and a table outside of each room. It was so nice sitting outside and talking with the other guests. The shuttle bus stop to go downtown was right out front. They had postcards of their motel sitting on the check in counter, they were free and even had postage! I love sending postcards!!! I was able to stick them in their mailbox. I can’t say enough of how wonderful the Bar Harbor Motel is.

Cute renovated motel by Acadia National Park

The motel was great, the staff, location and cute rooms were perfect for our two day getaway in Acadia National Park. The free shuttle stops right in front of the hotel taking you to downtown Bar Harbor (recommend because parking downtown is not as available and costs money), but the stretch is also not too bad to walk. The breakfast was very good, lots of selection but I’d suggest to get there before 7:30 am to beat the morning rush.

I enjoyed the old camp ground vibe that the place gave. It felt more family oriented. You’re really close to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. There’s also boat tours across the street! The perfect place to stay when you’re visiting Acadia.

it was amazing if you have kids really think about staying there there’s so many activities. It’s an open area where kids can run around and play nice pool. There’s a trail behind the motel that leads up to the park.

This place was great for families! It's decorated retro style, we had two bedrooms with cute Acadia NP art, and loved the continental breakfast with lots of options because we were eating out so much, was nice way to start the day! Close to downtown and on the bus line, also had a pool and multiple playscapes and toys for kiddos, not to mention smores and other activities. Also the staff was always helpful and friendly.

I'd strongly recommend Bar Harbor Motel as a place to stay, the rooms were spacious and clean, loved the shower other then the shower base being extremely slippery, the staff was very friendly and the breakfast that is offered with the room had plenty of choices. One of our most memorable places we stayed during our 2 week motorcycle trip. On a scale from 1-10 I'd rate it an 11.
