We loved our stay here! We booked it because it was well-reviewed and an affordable hotel in a good location. We were hoping for safe and clean but got so much more. It's a very cute and thoughtful motel - well decorated and spacious rooms. The staff was wonderful! Very helpful and truly committed to making sure we had a great vacation. There are so many thoughtful touches. My sister commented that this is what Disney SHOULD be doing with their budget hotels. Wonderful experience all around - we will definitely be back.

Bar Harbor Motel is by far the best property I've been to on any trip. Affordable for the area, convenient to Acadia without driving through much of Bar Harbor. My kid appreciated having his own bedroom. The breakfast was restaurant-worthy, not a typical continental breakfast. Laundry facilities were convenient. We checked out a day early and our last day was refunded, which I did not expect at all. I have recommended Bar Harbor Motel to all of my friends and family interested in Acadia National Park.

Breakfast was one of the best hotel spreads we have ever had! A lot of choices and everything was yummy. The room was clean and comfortable. We loved having access to the carriage roads at the back of the property! The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Elsi was wonderful with the kids and the ladies at the front desk greeted everyone with a smile!

They do a lot of extras that are great for families. S'mores every evening we were there, drawing board in breakfast to room, games, and swings. Almost felt like you were in a cabin setting.

I love this motel! The retro style theming is very cute. The rooms are spacious, very clean, look new, and very comfortable. They provide housekeeping every day and a delicious breakfast. The breakfast had a nice variety, including gluten-free muffins and bagels, which was very much appreciated. Everyone on the staff was extremely helpful and attentive. We enjoyed free smores by the fire and borrowed binoculars at no cost, very nice little extras that added to our trip. I can't wait to come back again!

Very cute place with a retro theme. Great customer service. They even gave welcome little toys to my kids. The room are so clean, this place is just at the foothils of Acadia national park. Breakfast was very nice and delicious.

This is a very pretty, cozy property, clean and quiet with a great location. The breakfast included gluten free and vegan options, which was amazing for the food allergy members of our party. The trees, playground, kids activities and path into Acadia were great perks. Definitely would stay again.

Had a great stay here at this motel. The little things really made our stay feel superior. Top notch staff and amenities that are included. My list of amenities I really appreciated • Communication Easy texting service for questions and staff was so friendly at check in and even called to let us know of fire with s’mores wasn’t cancelled because of short staff (they couldn’t guarantee it at check in) I had a question about charges called back within an hour and easily resolved. Even called our friends to let them know they left an AirPod after we left. • Fire and s’mores nightly • Lobster decorative towels on the bed (so cute) • Cute vintage styled rooms and clean Includes microwave • Snacks and drinks available through the day/until front desk closes One night we were tired and thought about ordering food but remember they had snacks and went and got cereal and yogurt. Saved us some money and energy! • Best Variety for continental breakfast I’ve seen. Hot food, waffle one morning then pancakes the next (you toast them) we actually liked this vs the messy make your own. Fresh fruit, Cheese and meat, muffins, bagels, English muffins even Gluten Free options!!! Great place to stay!

Great motel with a retro style. Nice breakfast, activities outside for adults and children, located near Acadia and Bar Harbor but just far enough away from the crowds.
