For the money I did not find it to be a good value. Leak from the toilet in bathroom was not attended to when reported. Wall crumbling in some spots in bathroom. Brick stairs to 2nd floor were crumbling in spots. Continental breakfast was unappetizing. I Understood that towels or sheets wouldn’t be changed, but room wasn’t tidied at all.

I wouldn’t stay here again.The ladies at the front desk were very nice.The breakfast offered was ehh.The outside needed major clean up and even tho pet friendly there was no area for dogs to relieve themselves.Was definitely not worth what I paid.

Poor A/C
Room poorly designed, Air conditioner is in an alcove and poorly cools the room. When we arrived the A/C was off, turned it on and left for several hours, came back and room hot. A/C not working, I looked and saw a lot of Mold in the discharge portion of the A/C unit. Asked front desk to be moved to a different room, None available. had Maintenance come and look at unit, I had to tell him what to do including cleaning mold and caked dirt on evap fins of unit. once unit was cleaned it worked but not well due to where it was located.

The building is very old and not best condition. The porch on the 2nd level was very dirty. The upholstered bench in our room was dingy and gross looking and had hair on it.

Property was clean, but very run down. It was very hard to close the front door to the room -- needed some carpenter work, I think. Also, bathroom door needed repair.

Great location away from busy downtown
Great location on the outskirts of Bar Harbor, easy access to Acadia NP. Room was worn but serviceable, AC unit was old and did not consistently work. the room was also very damp, but had an in-room dehumidifier which helped. Staff were friendly!

This hotel is on a very busy road coming into and leaving the island; that said, it quiets down around 9 pm. The room was fine, we even had a view of the water. Price was good for location and staff very nice. Bed was very comfortable. Omitted small space to walk our dog.
