Stay in bar Gabor August 24 2025

I had never stayed at a Days before and was impressed with the quality and ease of the experience from check in to check out was very nice. The beds were the most comfy of our entire trip. The stay wa well worth the money. Not far from the city center and transportation was available close to motel to take you to downtown area. Will stay here again when in town.

Reasonably priced for the season. Safe. Clean. Basic for the stay, as we were outside most of the time. No gym. Lol my walk to the village. Can get the explorer bus to visitors center from across the street.

They only clean the rooms every other day and there was only one roll of toilet paper, which was on the toilet paper holder. No extra rolls I had to go ask for rolls. Bricks were broken to get up to the second floor. There was a floor dryer in the room when we got there no idea why it was just not the greatest place.

The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. It is not a luxury hotel but it was conveniently located close to Acadia National Park and to Bar Harbor. The breakfast was adequate with Jimmy Dean egg sandwiches, hot oatmeal, bagels, muffins and cereal, coffee, milk and OJ.

The doors are very difficult to open and close, which causes guests to slam them constantly throughout the day. This was especially disruptive in the early morning hours. On the first day at breakfast, most of the food had already run out, and the staff didn’t seem very interested in restocking it. As for the rooms, the bedding felt damp, and the entire room had a musty odor. The air conditioning unit smelled so unpleasant that we had to switch it off and open the windows instead—fortunately, the weather made that a workable option. Definitely not worth 150 per night they charge

La eterna moqueta

El personal es amable y serviciales. El tamaño de las habitaciones es amplio con demasiados muebles que lo hacen un poco incómodo. Las camas son cómodas pero no hay sensación de limpieza por la moqueta y la poca ventilación. El cuadro de baño no es cómodo y algo sucio en el lavado que no limitan las zonas que, aparecerme, no se ven. El desayuno es variado. Hay autobuses gratuitos que llevan al centro de la ciudad. El hotel está cerca de una de las entrada al parque Acadia.

This was a $50 hotel charging $200. Dirty, old, smelly, small and does not clean or change towels for 3 days. Carpet and bathroom floors were wet and gross. Would not recommend at all.

AC unit worked fine but did not have a vent cover. This is a easy fit and should be taken care of. Also bathroom toilet paper hold broke first time I touched it.

Staff was very friendly, the bathrooms were very nice & location was convenient. The free local buses pickup across the street for easy transportation. The doors for the rooms were not sealed around and the walls are nearly paper thin, could hear people talking and doors slamming closed throughout the night.
