There were no towels in my room. When I went to the reception for towels, the receptionist asked the handyman who had a toilet plunger I. His hand to get them for me. There was also a mold smell on the floor where I stayed. It was not worth the price paid.

Before I get started. The staff was phenomenal. They were kind. They smiled. They greeted you. They did the best to take care you. They made the stay bearable. Now my first room that I checked into the door jam was bent. You can tell that someone had pried the door open. The room should be out of inventory until its repaired. It had a chair that sat in this huge open space. No arm rest so you couldn't come into the room and sit for a minute unless you sat on the bed in your street clothes. They changed the room. This room had a recliner what a novel idea. Same size room got it right. Unfortunately each time we left the room there was a cockroach on the door. It could have been from a previous guest. But three of them hmmm. Day stay yes, the staff will make it worth it. Longer hmmm, not sure. La Quinta can do better. I stayed at a LaQuinta in Ocean City a month ago. They can do better.

This is a very good hotel. With the new Route 10 spur it is a short 5-10 minutes from the west side of Providence. The breakfast options are very good and delicious. the coffee is terrific and plentiful. The hotel staff does a great job of accommodating needs.
