Mostly a good stay. I was put in a disabled persons room, which wasn’t in itself a bad thing, but I did accidentally set an alarm off fumbling for a light switch in the dark. Resulted in 2 phone calls asking if I was alright, so good to know their system works for disabled guests. The hand soap dispenser didn’t work in my room either. I did report it to reception the next morning and it appears that nothing was done about it. There was always a constant and presumably air conditioning noise in my room, which wasn’t loud, but it was there. The cleaners entered my room at 9am too while I was still in bed, so not the norm in a hotel.
The buffet breakfast was very good though. The room was large, the windows open. It’s close to Alexanderplatz station and the price was right, given the major football tournament had already started. So not bad value really and with just a few quirks.
