Just steps to Sea Colony's half-mile of private beach and oceanfront pools, this single-level, ninth-floor resort retreat features a living and dining area, a well-equipped kitchen, a full hallway bathroom, and a bedroom with a private half-bathroom of its own.

You'll have access to the owner's beach locker too! Accessible without stairs, this condo offers central air-conditioning, a washer/dryer, one reserved parking space, two TVs, two DVD players, and free WiFi. (The fireplace is not available for guest use.)

Nice place just needs to be cleaned better. There is old behind the couch at the kitchen wall, big dust fuzz under the couch and bed, and the bathroom sink vent hole is completely closed. I liked the place and area, just needs cleaned.

Good stay
Location and ease of access to the beach were great. I recommend that the property management team look into a new cleaning business. When we arrived, it was obvious a thorough cleaning had not been performed. There was the previous renters soap with hair on it still in the shower, the floors were not cleaned, the couch had crumbs dirt and other peoples hair. The most noticeable was the used towel still from the previous renter still hanging on the back of the door meaning the cleaning group had a minimal level of effort when looking for what to clean.

Not worth the money
Vacsa Corp the rental management company should inform the unit owner that there is a lot of work that needs to be done to make this a desirable rental. There were clean bagged secured towels provided in the unit, however it is apparent that the unit had not been cleaned. Beach sand not dust was on the coffee table. A cutting board had crumbs caked on it not washed and we found cobwebs and spider sacs in corners of the room. The patio screen slider had a large tear in it. There were rips in the carpet, louver panels for the sliding door were laying on the floor. A leather couch throw pillow had a large tear, the shower liner in the bathroom was full of mold and a long piece of base board was detached from the wall. I took pictures and sent them to Vacasa. Overall this unit is beat up dirty, and not comfortable. The rental contract stressed that they were taking cleanliness seriously for Covid cleaning, however there was little evidence that a deep cleaning was done to the unit. The Covid cleaning policy stated in the pre check in letter apparently is a policy only on paper and not a reality. Frankly, had we known what we were going to encounter, we would have made other arrangements for our getaway. It is not worth the money spent.

Overall positive experience
The property was as listed and as described in some of the prior reviews. Overall we had a nice stay. The location was great right on the beach. There were lots of family activities like bonfires and movies on the beach both at the resort and at Bethany beach a short walk up the beach. You can walk to a lot of restaurants. There is also easy use of tennis and other swimming pools. We reserved the tennis courts inside daily and used a different pool at the fitness center to sign up and take swim lessons for my daughter. While I do agree the property bathrooms are a outdated and the shower needs a new fixture to make it easy to adjust the water termperature, the thing that bothered me the most was the lumpy, too soft, and slanted downhill king mattress. Definitely needs replaced! I had to sleep on the pull out couch to be comfortable. At least I had that option!

Not what was advertised!
The property is not worth what is being charged. Not only was the furniture NOT what was shown in the listing there were only 3 pieces of furniture in the living room. A small sofa bed (uncomfortable), an armless chair (also uncomfortable) and a coffee table. No water pressure in the shower and the hot and cold water kept going on and off while showering. The bathroom and the entire apartment needs to be redone. Obviously the owner could care less about his or her apartment. screen door to balcony has holes in it so bugs were in the apartment esp mosquitoes. Wooden louvered door to apartment will not stay open. Bathroom full of mold around shower. Really suggest potential renters be careful about this unit.

Property does not truly look like it is pictured online
The bathrooms badly needs renovations. The couch in the living room is not as pictured it is a brown leather couch it should be replaced. When we got in the Condo it wasn’t cleaned trash still left under sink, and coffee maker still had coffee in it, Hair on the bathroom floor and the Internet went out two days after being in the condo. We did contact management and they did take care of the problems in a timely manor. Would possible come back but not at the same condo.

Spacious with modern furniture and a breathtaking view!
The furniture seemed to have been updated, and the open kitchen/living room with the cathedral ceiling really made the place feel super large. We would stay in unit again! However, next time we’re skipping the “linens package” and will bring our own (sheets, towels, paper towels, toilet paper, dish soap/detergent and sponge). The towels are low quality and shed all over you, cheap TP and paper towels. A couple things we could have done without...had to wash the sheets upon arrival because of sand in the bed, the bathtub needed to be cleaned, and definitely bring your own coffee maker (the one provided had mold and coffee residue in the water chamber). Although, we had a lovely family vacation!!

Great location near beach, could use some updating
Fantastic location, great balcony looking over the beach. Easy access up to top floor, comfortable bed and couch with open space and table. Everything we needed was in kitchen. 3 smaller issues. 1) The screen door had a few small holes in it, allowing some gnats and bugs to enter apartment. 2) Coffee maker had mold in the water tank. 3) Bathrooms were fully functional but a little worse for wear. Difficult to control shower temp - could use some touching up and updating.

A great stay for our little family.
Everything was clean and very organized at Sea Colony-the same goes for Resort Quest- which managed the rental. A lot had changed about Bethany since I had been there years ago, but it is still a great family destination. I would stay here again. My wife wanted to extend our stay, but, of course the room is booked months out.
