**Sea Colony will have ongoing construction from September through May. There will be construction noise that may be heard in the surrounding homes. Please be aware that this may be loud at times.

The Sea Colony Recreational Association requires a per person resort fee for guests ages 4 and older. This fee varies by time of year and is mandatory.

We loved just about everything this apartment had to offer - great location, easy access parking, beautiful ocean view, very clean and orderly, and comfortable sleeping. The only negative for us (& perhaps this would not matter to most people) is that the balcony never got the sun. We wanted to enjoy some sun on the balcony but the way the unit faces, it never has sun. Other than that, it was perfect, and we had a wonderful week!

Loud banging noise
The condo we rented was clean. The ocean view was wonderful. However, there was loud banging above us ( either the condo was getting renovated or construction) that started at 8:40 AM and continued throughout the day. We ended up leaving early due to the loud noise.

Clean, neat one bedroom with nice ocean view. Property management (Vacasa) promptly fixed problems on arrival — replaced burnt out lightbulbs and delivered dish towels. Bed was sufficiently comfortable. Sufficient pots/pans…but almost no basics for meal prep. (Bring spices, oil, aluminum foil, etc.). Super convenient location…easy walk to shops at Bethany Beach. Enjoyed the large fitness center on the other side of the property. Only negative—no hair dryer!!!!

Great view of the ocean and beach from the entire living room/dining room. Nice size balcony with rocking chairs. All the furniture was updated, comfortable and very clean. Had a wonderful stay, enjoying the beach, with SC lifeguard on duty in October! Walking distance to shops and restaurants. Kitchen was well appointed with everything we needed in working order. Very quick/easy check in and out. Will stay again, hopefully soon.

703 Chesapeake House - Sept 12 through 23
This is the 3rd time staying at Chesapeake House. This property was much smaller than one would imagine from the pictures and: 1. Storm door stopper was broken 2. Kitchen not very good equipped - 3 different skillets none usable (scratched and in terrible conditions) 3. Initial toilet paper in both bathrooms were "leftovers" and 2 rolls in the cabinet. Given the quality - we had to go buy some 4. Same for the liquid soap in the bathrooms and kitchen - "leftovers" not even half full (got some pictures to prove if needed) 5. Better job needs to be done with instructions on how to find the parking spot. The numbering is not at all intuitive - and it takes for ever to find your parking spot. The overall experience was good because of the location and the view, but little things here and there need to be improved. Thanks!

The condo could have been cleaned a little better as we found paperwork from the previous weeks guests and the bathrooms were not as clean as we had hoped. The condo is exactly like the pictures and the view is perfect. Overall, despite the slightly below average cleanliness, our stay was great.

Good accommodation, couple of problems
The property was as advertised. Two issues: one was the dishes were put away dirty, lipstick on glasses and the flatware was crusted with egg and other stuff and literally dumped into the drawer. We did not contact the property manager to have someone wash the dishes we ran everything through the dishwasher with dishwasher detergent. The other issue was on 2 occasions work men just walked into the unit, once while we were on the balcony, for service orders we did not submit. We did not feel entirely safe knowing people could just walk in with no prior notice at any time. The restrictions on guests meant we had to meet my brother's family off the property. Great location, an easy bike ride to the boardwalk. Could use more bike racks. Check in was easy.

After a long absence from the beach, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location was perfect! Will definitely be back.bthe ONLY minus was that we thought the condo could have been cleaner. Floors were a little gritty and counter tops needed wiped, which we did ourselves.

What a View !!
Over all , Very Nice Resort , beautiful landscape ,well maintained . The unit it self very nice but with a few minor issues . Minor as in , a phone call to the office and they were there to take care it , Because Things Happen . Nice unit with a beautiful view .
