We booked the Hilton as a last-minute mother daughter trip. The hotel itself is a great and ideal location. Unfortunately the hotel is dated and isn't what we expected for a 5 star hotel.
The room was extremely cramped with too much furniture for a small space. The table was so big you couldn't get past the bottom of the bed without hurting your legs, and in an emergency, that could pose a safety concern.
The shower was extremely slippery but lovely water pressure and complimentary toiletries.
The room was dusty in many places, and we had some flies coming in from the AC or ventilation grids.
The bed was comfortable, but the duvet was extremely thin, and the sheets weren't tucked in, so it kept sliding around whilst sleeping.
The room service was very strange, we called to order some room service, but the man just hung up on me without acknowledging he had the order no thank you or goodbye, which was extremely rude.
The pizza was £17!!! And was very small, and i suspect previously frozen, it was pleasent but had an oily taste. The room service tray was dirty and dusty with sticky marks all over it, which was unpleasant.
We ordered some drinks, but they arrived in glass bottles with no bottle openers, so we had to resort to using a spoon to open the bottle tops.
Breakfast was good, a little all over the place. The fresh fruits and vegetables weren't the best, very wilted and not the best selection.
The scrambled eggs where very watery and mushy which wasn't nice.
