The hotel lobby was presentable and clean upon arriving. The front desk staff were friendly. The room was clean and stocked with toiletries. The beds were comfortable for the 2 nights we were there. Breakfast was basic but good. There were many different choices, and the staff made sure everything was fully stocked. This was my second stay at this location. The first time, I had my dog with me. For anyone traveling with a dog, La Quinta is a good choice! There are grassy areas for dogs to walk and go potty with bags provided to dispose of any messes. My family would stay here again whenever we come back this way.

The location was clean, comfortable, and in good condition. The breakfast buffet offered a good range of options and was kept neatly stocked. Shopping was conveniently close. Some staff members impressed me as lacking basic social awareness and customer service skills. The front desk clerk could have hardly been more low energy and disinterested. I was greeted only with “Checking in?” He could not be bothered to stand up and he muttered info about breakfast and elevators in a monotone. The lack of enthusiasm was deafening. One of the two breakfast ladies impeded passage to the food during breakfast hours by literally standing in the doorway between the table area and the area where the breakfast spread was offered. She barely moved as guests passed by. Aside from these instances, I’d be happy to stay again.

Very friendly and affable front desk staff. This is my go-to hotel for bicycle riding around Bloomington. A plus that a Kroger and Upland brewing are within a mile or so. Warm, well-prepared breakfast. Thank you!
