Welcome to Rustic Comfort!

This is a 4 year old modern cabin that is located just 6 minutes to the shops and restaurants of the historic and charming town of Blue Ridge. There is also tubing, hiking, zip-lining, and apple orchards just minutes away.
At the end of your day of shopping or exploring, you will be ready to head back to this spacious and comfortable cabin. The kitchen is equipped with new appliances, a gas stove, and pots and pans if you want a cozy night in instead of eating at one of the great restaurants in town. There is a farmhouse table that seats 6+ where you can enjoy your meal together. Afterwards, you can go out onto the covered back porch, that spans the length of the cabin, and sit in front of the wood burning fireplace while enjoying the great views of the mountain and the valley below. You can also go downstairs to the rec area and play a game of pool, enjoy some drinks at the bar, and watch your favorite team on the 50" Smart TV. Outside the French doors on this level, you will find a hot tub and firepit. Enjoy a game of Cornhole, looking out at the stars while you relax in the hot tub, or roasting marshmallows around the firepit. When it is time for bed, there is a bedroom and bathroom on all 3 levels. Each bedroom has a king-sized bed with new Serta mattresses , 100% cotton sheets, bedside lamps, and a 43" Smart TV. The upper level has a walk-in tiled shower with a shower head on both ends and a double vanity. The main floor has a walk-in tiled shower with 1 shower head and a double vanity. The downstairs bathroom has a shower/tub combination with a single vanity.
The cabin sits on a hill. The driveway is steep, but we drive up in a Honda Pilot and a Honda Accord without any trouble. I wouldn't recommend low sitting cars or pulling a trailer up the driveway, though. You do not need a 4-wheel drive vehicle to get up it.
Whether you are enjoying time together playing pool inside Rustic Comfort or outside around the firepit, we hope that you will be very comfortable here and want to come back year after year to enjoy Rustic Comfort and explore all that Blue Ridge has to offer.

UPDATE: In the spring of 2020, we paved more of the driveway. Now 3/4 of the driveway is paved and the remaining 1/4 of the driveway and the parking area are gravel.

Wonderful stay & excellent host

We had a wonderful stay in Blue Ridge. The cabin was perfect for our family weekend - had so much to do at the home and was also very close to downtown restaurants, shopping and entertainment. The host was very responsive and helpful. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again!

Repeat Five-Star Stay

This was our third stay in this cabin and it is always a five-stay visit! The cabin is super clean and a very comfortable stay for six adults! Very spacious and nice seating for all six adults to sit in front of the fire. It is an open floor plan which we love so the cooks don't feel left out of conversations. King size beds provided a great sleep! The weather didn't cooperate this trip but with this cabin, we enjoyed our time in the hot tub, playing games, and cooking meals together! The host was very hospitable and communicated quickly with us. We will always choose this cabin for our stay and highly recommend it to others!

Our third year in a row at this wonderful cabin. Our host has always been very communicative, and we have booked it for next year as well. Fireplace on main level did not work this year, and we did kill 5 wasps but overall everyone was great.

Rustic Comfort

House was great for all ages from 4- 77 - the 3 different floors with large adjacent bathrooms allowed privacy for each age group. The outdoor deck space with views was great for quiet time or checking out the stars. Also convenient was the distance to the town. The only improvement I would suggest is some kind of window coverings in the living areas but overall a great stay and easy check in.

Cozy Holiday Getaway

Great location with a view!

This property was very clean. There were wonderful amenities - outdoor hot tub and the fireplaces both indoor and outdoor. It was tastefully decorated and the beds were very comfortable. It was amazing to be so close to downtown Blue Ridge while also having a view and feeling very secluded. We love to hike and were about 10-20 minutes from our favorite trails in the Aska Adventure area. It was a wonderful stay!

Superior Experience

This was our first time in Blue Ridge, but we have rented dozens of cabins in nearby areas over the years. This one quickly became our favorite. It was immaculately clean, beautifully furnished, well stocked, and had plenty of room for 4 adults and 4 teenagers. The outdoor spaces provided lots of opportunities to conveniently spend time outside, while the location put us a short drive to downtown and hiking trails. We cooked most meals in the cabin and found everything we needed to feed 8. Great communication with the owner with quick responses anytime we reached out. Highly recommend for a cabin that has everything you need and nothing you don’t.

Family Christmas train ride

My family consist of my husband and My daughter , husband and 3 children, the place was amazing even better then described. The place paid attention to every special detail . Location was perfect to downtown. I would love to make contact because I would like to know about 2 pieces of furniture I would love for my house . We definitely would love to return . My family is actually much larger do you also have larger rentals ?

Loved the separation of floors for each couple, and convenience of the location. Fabulous host!
