My son and I arrived later in the evening. Stayed at this hotel as a resting point, planning to get a solid 3 hours before heading out to our destination. After we got settled in and ready to sleep, the room phone rang (Full blast)..I picked up, but the phone receiver was broken, so the phone kept ringing. I had to disconnect the line. I assumed it was the front desk so I called using my cell phone. Front desk called to double check the spelling of my last name? I don't understand, she took my driver's license when I checked in. Anyway, everything was confirmed. We were able to manage and fall asleep. Then there was a banging at the door. I checked the phone and only 30 minutes had passed. I peaked through the peep hole and it was the front desk lady. I opened the door (freezing outside) and she said she needed my credit card. I said what for? I paid in full. She said she needed it to have on file for the room deposit. I asked her why she didn't do that when I initially checked in. She just looked at me with no answer. So I had to get dressed and follow her to the office to get that handled. Our room was at almost the end of the building so I was awakened by the chill of the walk. After that was taken care of. I couldn't fall back asleep and ended up driving tired and unrested for the remainder of my trip.
