This property was very nice and had a fabulous breakfast. It’s the best stay I’ve had in Portsmouth.

When we arrived at the train station we put the address shown on Expedia into the maps and it took us to totally the wrong place in the opposite direction! So the address definitely needs updating. The the size of the rooms and especially the bathroom are very small. We had a twin room and the beds were 2ft 6ins wide, not 3ft. The bathroom was tiny, my husband at 6ft 2ins would not have been able to fit in to use the toilet and the shower flooded the bathroom floor. Otherwise, good value for money and great location.

I loved my stay at village. The room had everything I could ask for. Surprisingly the TV was a decent size and they had a super coffee machine there, the only issue which was the biggest problem- the cups were tiny. To make a coffee I had to have the most tiny cup. Other than that, exceptionally good quality

The room was clean and comfortable, although the position of the bed meant that I could clearly hear people using the toilet in the room next door. The toilet in my room made a loud humming noise while the cistern was filling but it only lasted for about 5 minutes each time. It was a good value stay in Portsmouth though
