The good: There’s bars and restaurants in walking distance, which is nice. It’s a budget hotel so I knew what to expect. It opened this year so things are for the most part in moderate shape.
The bad: Upon arrival, we were told that the entire hotel does not have hot water, and would not for the duration of our stay. Apparently there was a fire next door that broke their gas system. We were not told of this beforehand, and I could tell we definitely weren’t the only guests who hadn’t. The manager was extremely insensitive to the situation and the best he would offer was a late check out. What about us not having hot water for several nights? He refused to even entertain any idea of a refund. Bridgette, receiptionist at the front desk and the rest of the staff here, outside of management, do try their best help you but I don’t think management gives them what they need to best do their job.
In conclusion, I'd probably pony up a few extra dollars and consider staying elsewhere.
