Beautiful property, but rundown. We arrived at 4:00 and our room wasn’t ready (4 pm check in). When we did get our keys and entered, there was one mini bottle off water for two people. There was no power outlet for the coffee maker, so we had to make coffee in the bathroom. Some of the power outlets are powered off a light switch that runs on a timer, which stops charging your phone at night. No pool available (warned ahead of time), yet still a resort fee. For what? I was woken up at 5:38 am on a Sunday morning by a construction truck or setter sweeper. This hotel is not worth the price it is charging ($280 with all fees for one weekend night).

I know the resort is under renovation so it was nice. The bathroom door is a sliding barn door and that just did not work for a bathroom. The room and bathroom were huge and property was quiet until 8:30 am.

Thought my booking thru Expedia was for the total cost of our stay, however, upon checking in, they charged a resort fee! Make matter worst, they promised me a 3:00 check in but more like a 4:30 when we finally get our key. Oh, shower pan need to shim properly, it’s making noise.

"I recently stayed at Pala Mesa Golf Resort, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The location is great, offering a peaceful and scenic environment, perfect for a relaxing getaway. The staff was friendly and accommodating throughout our stay. However, I did feel that the cleanliness could have been improved in some areas by no means was it horrible, just some evidence of the last people that were staying here where there, and the bathroom door in our room didn’t close properly, which was a bit inconvenient. Despite these minor issues, the resort has a lot of potential and, with a few improvements, could offer an even better stay. I would stay here again.

This is a really wonderful, older property. The rooms looks as if they have been recently renovated and they and they grounds are kept up meticulously. The front desk staff was wonderful. The staff in the restaurant (Mary) and bar (Monica) are just wonderful. So friendly and very service oriented. I had a wonderful stay and will be back many many times in the future.

Rooms remodeled looked good. Landscaping in bad shape. You are on a shoe string staff and they are really under alot of stress. No hot water for tea in the rooms. No gift store could have used some soy milk. Need plant based options. Both neighbors had TVs in very loud. Your staff are your gift. Please help your housekeepers with having someone pick up the linen bags. They should not be dragging geavy bags
