Had a wonderful time is the Mesquite casita for a girl’s weekend. Casita is at the top of the property and very secluded and quiet. It had ample space and the pool was lovely although the filter was on for most of the day and causing the pool to overflow all day. We called twice about it and finally someone came to turn it off late afternoon. The beds were comfortable. The kitchenette severely lacked with no plates/utensils, no dish soap or sponge, one dish towel. Tiny coffee pot for a place that accommodates 6 people. Bring your own plates/napkins, plastic cups and utensils. There is a cafe/market on site that serves Starbucks coffee. The grounds were pretty, with many places to relax throughout, and the hotel portion was attractive, but everything could use some sprucing up. We did not go to the spa or bar/restaurant on site as it was very expensive. Great place to stay in Borrego Springs, though.

didn't realize our reservation went through a 3rd party, therefore we didn't get the special 3-nite stay/patio. room was comfortable but really want the patio rather than a balcony. Grounds are kept very nice--the workers work very hard and efficiently Very quiet and relaxing stay--pool area good but some people had their dog running around inside-- Really wish you would have morning coffee in lobby area available for guests--pretty much expected in resort hotels-- Starbucks cafe is a good idea --if you are a Starbucks fan--pastieries were not so good and expensive. Bar area is good but only one employee working and she was doing everything--(felt sorry for her) We would stay again as we used to live in BS and also former members of the resort. Next time we will reserve maybe a casita. Hope you have a good winter season ahead.

We really enjoyed staying at La Casa del Zorro. We stayed in the Deluxe room. The room was very spacious as was the bathroom. It was clean and simply decorated. We had a small balcony facing the pool. The pool area was nice, maybe some of the umbrellas and shades could be replaced especially when it is hot outside and need them. The outdoor areas were nice, but also might need more cleaning and update. We really enjoyed our stay and would defnintely come back.

Coming back when weather is cooler. Very cool old vibe but property was in great shape. Renovated room, nice shower, and comfortable bed. Had a weird Roku TV system. I didn’t like that much. Nice outside seating on patio.

The resort has wonderful activities- pools, fitness center, tennis, running path, etc. We went off-season (June) and there wasn’t much to do off the resort. Many restaurants in town were closed. The resort doesn’t offer breakfast, which would be a nice enhancement.
